Boy's 2nd Birthday Party Invitations...?

ummm

Hi. I am trying to come up with a simple poem or saying to put on my son's 2nd Birthday party invitations. I am running out of time. I really don't want to put any theme on the invitations... Just something simple..
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance!!

Answer
Cake and Ice Cream,
are oh so sweet,
We're having a party
that's sure to be a treat!

"Our son is turning 2...(and then the party information)"

Round and Round and Round we go,
where the fun stops nobody knows!
Please join us in celebrating
our son's 2nd birthday

Should we decline the birthday party invitation?

Q. The little boy I used to baby-sit (when he was 3) is turning 6 and having a birthday party. Every year since then his mother has invited us and our children to his birthday parties even though we have been out of his life now a few years. The last party of his that we attended, we didn't know anyone there and we were getting the, "who the hell are they" looks from people. Would it be okay to decline the invitation but send a small gift in the mail to the boy?

Answer
It's very nice for them to invite you but you are not obligated to attend or even send a gift. You babysat him a long time ago and you are uncomfortable going to the party. I'm sure the parents would be okay if you didn't show up if you let them know why.

Creative birthday party invitations?

Q. So i am having a birthday party ( a scavenger hunt around the mall) and instead of just boringly puting my invitation in a envolope, i wanna do something cute ( for example my friend rolled each invitation up + put a ribbon around it) what should i do??

Answer
oh my god these like 17 year old boys were playing a mall scavenger hunt game and they looked so stupid they even made the salespeople mad. i say don't have a party like that. its rude and disturbs people shopping with friends and family

1st birthday party invitation ideas...?

b'smom

My baby boy is turning one in a couple of weeks and I need some ideas on what to put on the invitation... for ex: Come for cake and lots of fun, our little boy is turning one. It doesn't necessarily need to rhyme, but I do want to put a picture of him on it with all of the party information. Also, any extra ideas for a first b-day party would be great! Thank you!!

Answer
we're doing a baseball theme for our son. it's really simple, but boyish. plus his daddy loves baseball. i made his invitations myself. they look like tickets to a baseball game. i'm actually really proud of them. we're going to have little snacks for the guests like cracker jacks and boiled peanuts. i'm making "all star" sandwiches by cutting them with star cookie cutters. birthdayexpress.com is a cute website if u just want general 1st birthday decorations and stuff. your local party store should have some things too. if u wanna see my invitation, u can email me bethwitt86@yahoo.com. hope this helps! good luck with the planning!

I'm having a birthday party for 3 cousin boys whose birthday's are all within the same month. Rather than have 3 separate parties, we're throwing one big party. How do we word the invitation so that people know that they don't have to buy 3 gifts but only for the boy they would normally buy a gift for? As if the parties were 3 separate ones.

Answer
I agree with B. Have each family send invites to people that know their child that they want there with the party details and then designate someone with a list of common family members to mail those with the same details.
On party day you may want to have parents greet the guests so they can accept the gifts for their child and set them aside until later for their child to open so no one is mixed up or lost in the process. It may also be something to consider in letting them open gifts at home after the party so if someone didn't have as a big of a turn out there are no hard feelings or upset between the kids (depending on how old they are, you didn't say). That way if someone ends up with 10 things and someone else only ends up with 4 or 5 by attendees at the party no one feels slighted.

Any birthday invitation ideas for Mixed martial Arts fanatic especially UFC & IFL?

It's his 40th surprise birthday party. I want the invitation to be themed with MMA.

Answer
Send octagon shaped invitations with the number 40 in the middle. Look at the cards the ring girls hold up to signify which round it is for some inspiration.

In the inside spatter some red food coloring (dip a small paintbrush in it and flick it at the paper) after you print the invitation.

Make sure you are wearing a sports bra and boy-shorts to the party (like a ring girl), and you need to blow the guests lots of kisses.

If any of the guests tries to get touchy with you, a rear naked choke is a polite way to say "no" and it doesn't leave marks.

I am having a dinosaur birthday party for my four year old little boy. I want to make personalized birthday invitations that have his name, not the generic ones you buy in the store. How would I do this? Is there a store that can do this for me?

Answer

Is it wrong to send a Birthday announcement to family?

April R

My twin boys are turning one soon and they are having a birthday party. Here is my problem. We are stationed in another country, so the only people that would be able to come are our friends here. Should i send Birthday invitations or more like an announcement? We both come from HUGE families. I would feel dumb sending them an invitation knowing they canât fly to Ireland. Any ideas would be great!

Answer
I think it would be fine, kind of like a YAY our twins are finally ONE!! type deal, it wouldn't make them feel weird, it is just like sending wedding "invitations" to people you know can not make it, but you want them to feel included...
