Birthday Party Ideas For A 4yo Girl?

Talkin' Ta

My daughter will be turning four very soon. Looking for party ideas and or places. We've done chuck e cheese and pump it up. Thanks.

Answer
I'm very young myself and it depends on your daughter's personality. Here are some ideas

Sugarland: This can be held anywhere you want, even your home. Get pink goody bags for girls filled with big lollipops, candies and little colorful bracelets and etc. For boys you can do the same thnig except bright blue goody bags filled with everything mentioned above except the bracelet. For invitations pick a colorful color and write on it "This party is going to be SWEET!"

Princess theme: Have girls come in dresses and boys come in a suit or tux. (To make it look like a prince and princess) and make the place look like a ballroom. Have a big chair speaciality placed in the front of the dance floor for the princess (your daughter) and have a dance contest. Your daughter would be able to pick the winner. After all she is the princess.

Beach theme: Have guests dressed causually and once they arrive give them a coconut bra and a grass skirt to put on over their clothes. Have a little indoor pool, and have a tropical song playing. Do limbo contests, and etc.

Girls Night theme: Make your house look like a huge salon/ spa! (Girls party/sleepover) and each guest will be split in a group. Group 1 goes to the nail station where they'll recieve a manicure and pedicure. Group 2 will go to the spa resort the will recieve massages and facials. Group 3 will go to the hair dresser where they get to have their hair curled, straightened, braided or whatever they want done that you can do. And just switch off. Then when that's over take them out for ice-cream or something rent a movie and have them watch a movie and sleepover.

I need ideas for my 16th birthday party :)?

Daena Voge

Hey guys :) Ok here's the story, i turn 16 in August, i know what you're thinking: "Whoa, thinking a bit early arent you?" well, i'm the type of person that loves organising things in advance :) Anyway, i need something that my friends will think it's fun / awesome :) But i want to keep it affordable please :) i cant exactly hire a venue for my party because they're way too expensive, so i need ideas that are fun yet fit to my budget :) thank you! :) x

Answer
Create your own teen "nightclub" by transforming a basement, garage or backyard into a stylish dance club. If your budget allows, you can opt to rent out a local venue for the event, like a banquet hall or community center. Hire a DJ to get the guests moving, or recruit a family member to "guest DJ" with an MP3 player and some speakers. Create a swanky ambiance by draping some brightly colored fabric, like tulle or satin, against the walls. Add mood lighting by stringing Christmas lights above the dance floor, or using a black light to generate a glow-in-the-dark aesthetic (but be careful to avoid fire hazards). You could even rent a disco ball or make a sign that displays a name for the club, using your teen's name. Serve non-alcoholic "mocktails" or sparkling grape juice and platters of finger foods. For an added touch, create your own invitations in the form of "VIP passes." Your teen and his friends will have a blast dancing the night away.

A Night to Remember
For a more intimate and upscale birthday celebration, have your teen choose her closest friends--the number will depend on your budget. Treat them to a a night out on the town by renting a limo service to whisk the posse out to dinner at a local restaurant. To ensure that the venue can accommodate your group, make a reservation at least two weeks in advance. Encourage the guests to dress up for the occasion, and instruct the limo pick up each friend at his home or have everyone get spruced up at your house before departing for dinner. Have a sparkling cider or soda toast in the limousine using fancy glassware, and ask your limo company if they can provide decorations for the vehicle, like balloons or mood lighting. Then, let the kids spend a few hours relaxing and making memories over a savory cuisine. Finish with a birthday cake, either provided by the restaurant or dropped off by you ahead of time.

Sweet 16 Spa Sleepover
This party theme is most popular with girls. Since turning 16 marks a milestone between childhood and adulthood, throw a birthday bash that fuses a youthful slumber party with a grown-up twist--a spa theme. Send out invitations that instruct guests to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow, and designate the attire as "pajamas." Set up spa stations throughout your home. A "facial" station in the kitchen could contain supplies for homemade skin masks and scrubs. A "pedicure" station in the bathroom could be equipped with basins for soaking toes in warm, soapy water, an array of nail polishes and files, cotton balls and toe dividers. Surprise your birthday girl and her guests by setting up a special station with the help of a professional--hire a masseuse to give each girl a short massage, or a makeup artist to provide in-house "makeovers." After the primping is finished, throw in some traditional sleepover staples. Order a few pizzas, make some popcorn and rent a scary movie.

Q. My birthday's in April, but I like to plan ahead who I'm inviting, what we're eating, what I'm doing, etc. What should I do? My limitation is 400$
And that's for food, decorations, etc
Sure! mine's April 6th!

Answer
Have a sleepover! Make invitations and thank you notes that have a spa theme. You'll need hair stuff, face masks, cool cucumber slices, towels, nail polish, nail files, and giant bowls (Bath and Body Works will be a big help). Ask the girls to bring their bathrobes, toothbrushes, pajamas, and favorite CDs. Play the CDs and take turns painting each other's nails and giving massages. Give out little favor bags with nail polish, samples of face masks, ponytail holders, and a little bottle of perfume.

I need a name for my new out of home business?

minoloblan

This is a small business running out of my apartment. I specialize in cakes, candies, pastries ( from truffle candies to wedding cakes) and also party favors and invitations ( from birthdays, holidays, baby showers, and weddings). I had the name "Happy Endings", but some of my friends say that even though it fits the bill, some other people may think i run a 'massage parlor'. Please help me figure out a name for my business...i already have clients lined up, but i need a name to put on the business cards and invoices! HELP!! thanks in advance!

Answer
I'm impressed you can bake that well w/ an apartment oven! My apt. ovens always sucked and had hot spots! And LOL about the massage parlor! Since the two things you do are kind of differnt, what about 2 different cards? Just an idea.... or maybe emphasize the food, but have on the biz card "and custom printing of invitations and menus" or something ike that.

Party Perfection
Custom Baking & Engraving
The Party Connection
The Urge to Splurge

I am a girl and i want to know where i should have my thirteenth birthday party? Please help!

Answer
If you're going to have an all girls party, how about a spa night at your home or a friend's house? After all, most girls love to be pampered? Rather than giving treatments to one another, contact your local beauty schools and massage schools to see if any of their students, who are about to graduate, would like to make some extra money on the side and have them render your services.

If possible, have the same number of guests as you do professionals, then everyone may receive a rotating treatment simultaneously. If you have more guests than you do professionals, then just create a resting area for the girls to await their turn. Try to keep each of your treatments to about 30 minutes.

Make spa-related shaped invitations to help create pre-sparty excitement! Make them in the shape of a spa headband, flip-flops, or make them look like a spa appointment card. Tell guests to be sure and bring comfortable clothing that may be used as spa attire. Things like t-shirts, drawstring pants, boxers, robes, and slippers are perfect options. If possible, have your professionals come dressed in white t-shirts and black pants to give the appearance of professionalism.

Decide on the services you want to offer and then create spa stations to coincide. For example, manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, hair, and makeup. Be sure to have plenty of towels on hand. Fill decorative baskets with stacks or rolled towels and place at the various stations. Provide comfortable seating, along with small tables containing bottles of water, magazines, yummy hand creams, and specialty chocolates for your guests to enjoy while they wait.

You will want your food table to look elegant, yet simple. consier using a white tablecloth with spa color accents. Bring out the white Christmas lights and intertwine them amongst greenery and place it between the trays and plates. Serve your food on tiered plates.

To create additional spa ambiance, hang nets of lighting on your walls and cover them with sheer fabric. They also work great being intertwined in live or silk plants and trees around your party area.

Decorate with vases of fresh flowers in your party colors. Place scented candles and bowls of potpourri on the tabletops. Be sure you have plenty of mirrors and consider having a fountain running in the background.

So, there you have it. Now that's my idea of a great 13th birthday! Whatever you decide, have a great time!

How can i make a spa themed 16th Birthday not cheesy?

Abby

So i am turning 16 this month and i am having my birthday party at my house. And i love beauty and all so i am having a spa themed birthday party. But how can i have a cheap and mature yet fun spa themed birthday party?
Ideas please with anything revolving around the party!
Thanks tons!

Answer
Ohm, you are going to have a relaxing, healthy and fun party. Print your invitations with bamboo and zen characters, maybe include a little envelope of green tea. Tell your guests to come in yoga clothes and bring a bath robe. Decorate with plants all moved into your party room, play meditation music, put down bamboo mats or rug if you have. Get a friend to lead everyone in a yoga-stretching class, serve cucumber-mint water afterwards. Have a big table set up with all the ingredients for everyone to make home-made face and body scrubs (sugar, lemon, lavender, go to websites and print little recipes, provide cheap mason jars, rafia and little labels to color in). Set up a facial station with hot face towels. Have a friend provide neck massages and manicures or special hair braiding. Lunch could be a healthy salad bar with superfoods like edamame, kale, cranberries, nuts. You could set up a makeup station, be sure to provide new sponges and qtips for unique use, no sharing. Take before and after "make-over" photos. Decorate little bags for everyone to take their goodies home. If there are to be gifts for you, guests could bring beauty products. All fun, healthy and on a budget. Happy Birthday.
