18th Birthday Party Ideas!!!!!!?

Trenton Mi

Hi!!! Im trying to plan a completely awesome 18th birthday party this year for one last big party before all my friends leave for college. I dont quite know how, but through the years i have gotten a bit of a rep for throwing good parties so people are expecting something really good...the only issue is im not really sure what id like to do. I just dont want any repeats of previous years....ive had movie/oscar theme, halloween, a beach party, bowling, day at the spa/broadmore, dirt biking, camping, sky diving/water park, giant scavenger hunt and the rest were all kinda kiddy. Both girls and boys (about 15 to 30 teens around my age) will be coming this year so it has to be flexible. Ive been thinking about a paintball/lazer tag party this year but i wanted to see what else was out there.
anybody every do anything really amazing or have any great ideas???
thanks!

Answer
Hi! This is my favorite of all theme actually. How about trying a rock theme one?

Guitars, stars, musical notes, mixtapes are the main thingys. Having a small convert stage would be fun!

Photobooth will also be a good one so that your visitors can have a souvenir from your party at the same time, a remembrance.

I suggest you should have a dress code too. Everyone's gonna wear a chucks? or somewhat similar to it. This is a suggestive one for girls, girls should wear skirt and a chucks. Everyone's gonna wear a rock`in statement shirt, or just a plain statement shirt?

Hmmm.. I think you'd be having a hard time customizeng your food. Well anyway, it's your choice. I'll be sharing you a pictures of cool stuffs I've been gathered.

How I wish I'd help. That's actually my frustration, having a rock-theme party.
Advance Happy Birthday Trenton. :]

3 year old girl birthday party ideas!!?

Diana

All my friends are coming and they all have kids but the oldest child is 8 years old. It'll be a mix of boys and girls. About 30 people total including adults and kids. I need some ideas about the location. No theme. Everyone is gonna come to my house first and then we'll all go together to the location. What is a good fun place to have this party?

No budget.
There's a place near my house called Play World sort of like Chuck-e-Cheese but less crowded. I'm thinking of having it there.

Answer
my son went to a birthday party where they rented a camp site for a day. They did weenie roasts, horseshoes, ran around outside all day. Everyone had a blast. You could even hang a pinata in the trees.

Hunting/camping birthday party for husband's 30th?

Glitter

My husband's birthday is coming up in June, we are having an outdoor party since there will be several kids. We are inviting about 23 guests mostly family. I'm going to do a hunting/camping theme. I'm going to use the tin plates and mugs but I need other ideas. Especially decorating ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Answer
A lot of bright orange and camouflage green would go along with the theme :) also you could maybe put some sort of scavenger hunt on and definitely have some s'mores! Maybe make a nice bonfire? I'm out of ideas right now but those hopefully can get you started. :)

What are some cool ideas for a Circus birthday party?

Marcella W

I am 13 and will be 14 in August. My theme is Circus. What are some fun ideas? thx! LAWLZ

Answer
For my daughter's second birthday, I chose a circus/carnival theme. We had just been to see Barnum & Bailey's and she was still really excited about all of the animals at the circus. The invitations were printed with clowns and titled "We'll be clowning around at Emma's 2nd Birthday Party." Along with the invitation which was stuffed with confetti, invitees also received a ticket for entry to the party. This was printed on blue cardstock, 1 inch tall x 6 inches long, and formatted to match an old concert ticket. It read: Brackett Entertainment Presents: "Emma Turns Two!" The Greatest Show Under the Big Top and along the tabbed side it said Admit One Family. I printed directions on the back of the tickets. We put signs up around the neighborhood pointing towards the Brackett Fairgrounds. We set up our front yard in typical carnvial fashion. I made pennants out of felt and spindle sticks (red, yellow and blue) and outlined my front yard with them so that guests were forced to go through the "ticket booth." As guests arrived, they presented their ticket at the ticket booth (a dinner tray with posterboard across the front saying Ticket Booth decorated with lots of streamer and balloons) where a volunteer gave each child a long string of red "25 cent" tickets and a bright colored paper bag with their name on it. The children could then go from booth to booth and play typical carnival games (pick-a-duck, ring toss, dig for treasure, lollipop pull, fishing game, and bean bag toss). Each booth had a volunteer who took 2 to 3 tickets and each booth gave prizes-win or lose. This is where the paper bags come in handy. Also, as a treat for my volunteers, they each got a button to wear and keep - it was a picture of a clown holding a sign which had their name on it. One of the "booths" was a moonwalk that we rented and had set up on the side of the house. In the center of the yard, we put up our dining canopy that we use for camping and I filled it with balloons and hung a sign on the front that said "Show Time 2:30 p.m." I placed a borrowed parachute on the floor of the canopy for the kids to sit on. I also printed off acrobats, cut them out, attached them with button tabs so they would swing, and hung them from the balloons. We hired a clown who put on a 30 min. magic show "under the big top." She then did face painting for another 30 mins. and when we went inside for the cake, she did balloon animals for all the kids. The cake was brightly decorated with circus animals on the bottom and a merry-go-round (Wiltons.com) on top with a flag pennant (a straw and construction paper) that said Happy Birthday Emma sticking out of the top of the merry-go-round. The dining room was decorated with red, yellow and blue streamer starting from the center of the room to the wall and then draping down to the floor so as to give a "big top" feel to the room. Of course, we had circus animal cut-outs all over the walls. We even had blow up circus animals (Oriental Trading Co.) in the bushes in the front yard with a sign that said "Don't Feed the Animals!" We opened one of our garage doors and placed two tables across it. We rented a popcorn machine and offered circus peanuts, cotton candy, animal crackers, sodas, hot dogs, and individual bags of chips. Of course, there was a sign hanging that said Concession Stand and listed the price of each item (Hot Dogs. . .2 tickets). We even had red & white striped bags for the popcorn (Oriental Trading Co.). We set up two tables in front of the garage doors so that people could eat comfortably. The kids loved having to "pay" for their food. As each child was leaving, they got a goodie bag stuffed with stickers that said "Thanks for coming to Emma's party", an animal shaped straw, an animal figure, a red clown nose, and a clown book. As thank you cards, we put together a "circus program" with pictures of the party and sent them to our guests. The kids had a blast! Our party started at 2:00 and the last guests didn't leave until 6:00. We didn't even open presents until afterwards. The adults even got a chance to have some fun in the moonwalk once most of the small kids went home. I ordered my invites and goodie bags from Birthdayinabox.com and all of my prizes and some decorations from Oriental Trading Co. The rest I made from things around the house. It took a while, but it was well worth it. The clown, moonwalk and popcorn machine came from a party rental store where we got a good package deal. This was one of the best parties we have ever had and we had over 20 kids who attended.

What is a good amount of challenges for a survivor party?

camping 30th birthday party ideas image

Coolbean

I'd like to have a
survivor themed
birthday party for
when I turn thirteen
I want it to start in the afternoon
and go into evening but no
later than like 10:30 at night.
If I start it at 4:30 or five thirty
How many challenges do you
think I could fit in?

Answer
You're going to need someone to act as Jeff Probst and explain the challenges, hand out the buffs, etc. Make sure it's someone who is willing to wear something like Jeff.

For invitations you should put little notes in glass bottles or you could roll the invitation up the way tree mail comes on the show. Make sure to tell them to be prepared to Outwit, Outlast, Outplay.

When your friends arrive have a jar (that you can't see trough) ready with different colored buffs. Let everyone pick one and get into their teams. Also, have names ready for both of the teams.

Set up two picnic tables and have tents pitched on opposite sides of the yard... Have one tiki torch for each person, on each team (They don't have to be lit... that could be dangerous).

Let the teams check out their camps and have a note waiting inside each tent. The note can tell them to report to their first reward challenge.

If you want to make this really fun and have memories of your party, see if one of your friends who doesn't want to participate, or your family members, want to film it. They can film it like the confessionals on survivor! They can interview different people and ask them why they think they are going to win and what they think of their team members, etc.... Make sure you do it away from others, so it will be a surprise when everyone watches it later.

Now, have the person doing Jeff's job announce the first reward challenge which can be for a prize. The challenge idea is from the link below:
WATER BRIGADE: I set this up along the sidewalk and had the two teams go different directions. On one end was a bucket full of water and on the other end an empty cup. The goal is to transfer the water from one bucket to the cup using small cups (the ones that come on the medicine bottles). They had to pass the cup to next player and so on until the cup was filled.

Send the teams back to camp and serve them rice and coconut slices! Now have someone deliver tree mail to the camps about the Immunity Challenge.
A great idea for this challenge is to get some random stuff such as: baseball bases, hula hoops, spare pieces of carpet... basically anything that can be stepped on, or in. Make sure to give both teams the same supplies. Make a start and end for both teams and give them the instructions. The goal of the game is to get your entire team to the end without stepping out of, or off of the supplies they've been given. If anyone does so, the entire team must go back to the start. Make sure you give them less supplies than there are team members, that way a lot of them have to crowd onto one item! The winning team gets immunity and gets to watch tribal counsel.

Tribal Counsel:
Set this up how you like... make sure no one gets their feelings hurt!

It would be really fun to have a food reward after that. Give everyone the same amount of monopoly money and let them bet on the food and cake you are serving. Make sure to have lots of kinds of stuff!

10 points?!

What are some cool 15th birthday ideas for about 5 girls?

as;lgkj0q2

Birthday's coming up, wanna have a fun party. They will probably all sleep over, but what are some fun things we could do?

Answer
Have your guest bring sleeping bags, flashlights, pajamas, fuzzy slippers, etc.

1. Tie a balloon with string around your guest's ankles. On "go" everyone tries to stomp on everyone else's balloon.

2. Give all guests a toothpick to put in between their teeth. They form a line and try to pass a lifesaver or any candy with a hole in it to everyone with using only your toothpick.

3. Put truth and dare cards in a balloon and have guests pick a balloon pop it and answer the truth or do the dare.

4. Play hide and go seek at night

5. Have a silly string war

6. Put a cookie on your forehead and get it to your mouth by using facial expressions only

7. Have one girl be the pointer. She points at one girl to start off a random story then she points to another girl to continue it, and so on

8. Have a girl leave the room while everyone hides in their sleeping bags. The girl comes in and feels the bodies to guess who it is.

8. Have friends bring over board games to play

9. Have an equal pile of m&ms for every girl. One teen starts off by saying I have never... (I have never gone to Hawaii) If it is true for you, eat an m&m. Whoever has the most left wins!

10. Have a bowl of small multicolored candy (like skittles) Have everyone grab 2 candies. If they have the same color you get to eat them. If not you must keep this in your mouth. Round after round you stuff sweets into your mouth until you have 2 of the same color.

11. Play a classic game of truth or dare

12. Watch a movie.

13. Freeze dance

14. Give each other makeovers, BLINDFOLDED!

15. Play "Do You Like Your neighbor?".

16. Paint each other's finger nails.

17. Play hide and go seek in the dark!

18. Rent lots of movies!

19. Treasure hunt in the dark. (have people bring a flashlight to use)

20. Have a dance off... with bubble wrap. Try to pop the most bubbles.

21. Indoor picnic! Pack a basket of goodies, lay out a blanket in the living room, and enjoy a indoor picnic!

22. Tea party! Pull out your finest doll china (if the kids can be trusted with it) and serve hot cider, finger sandwiches, and fancy cookies. As you play you can even teach your guests proper manners for a formal occasion (ediquete).

23.Camp out! Clear some space in the basement, pitch a tent, pull out your sleeping bags, and let the kids sleep inside. (Teddy Bears optional.)

24. To a huge puzzle all together! Put your smarts together to figure it out!

25. Dance! Teach the kids your favorite dance.

26. Test Your Taste Buds! Have one person make something from ingredients in the kitchen and then other person has to put on a blindfold and eats the food. The person with the blindfold on then makes a guess at what the food is or what ingredients are in it.

27. Drama Bag Game - Fill shopping bags with 5 different items in each bag. A shoe, hat, party favor etc. - but fill each bag with different things. Divide into teams and give each team one bag. Go to different rooms and create a skit which includes all items in the bag. After 15 minutes come back and perform. Variation: Create a song or commercial.

28. Play Maufia.

29. Talk! Late Nights are a good time for friends to just get together and talk too!

30. HAVE FUN!!!!!!

For dinner have a "Mystery Meal". Give each guest a menu, but have the items coded like Dr.Pepper is Physicians spice. It is funny to see your friends so confused! Here are some more ideas:
âNeptune's Tridentâ (fork)
âPucker Upâ (lemonade)
"Shovel" (spoon)
"Finger Puppets" (olives)
"Early Morning Alarm" (chicken)
"Gold nuggets" Clue- Pocahontace (corn)

Slumber Party Menu

Pizza - take out or have more fun making your own with fun toppings.
Chips and dip
Veggie tray with dip
Fruit tray with dip
Make Rice Krispie Treats, Brownies or Cookies at midnight
Fondue
Hot Chocolate
Sleepover Smores
Smoothies

Make a Tutu! Instrunctions here: http://www.birthdaypartyideas4kids.com/tutu-craft.htm

Hope I helped!
