Should I have a joined birthday party with my friend?

I don't know if I should have a joined birthday party with my friends? Her birthday is 2 days after me. If we do. we were planning to rent or book a place and have a dj play music and have food and decoration. We were thinking of inviting 50 people. I kinda want to since this is the only way my mom would let me invite everyone at school in my grade but then she might invite sum people I don't like. So should I or should I not?

My best friend and I use to have joint birthdays all the time and we were a month apart hehe it's a lot of fun because you are with all your friends and that's all that matters ..if she invites a few people you don't like it doesn't really matter because you'll have the people there that you love and won't even notice them :) I say, go for it!!

You could even charge $5.00 at the door per person and then you and your friend can donate the money to a good cause! Let people know on the invitation what the fee is for!!

Should I do a separate or joint invitation?

My son is turning 3 and his cousin is turning 7. We've decided to do a combined birthday party. I'm planning to send out an evite as the invitation. Should I make a separate evite for family and a separate evite for my friends so my friends do not feel obligated to bring two gifts? My friends do not know my son's cousin who is turning 7.

I would do a joint invitation, the cousin will feel really bad if your son gets twice as many gifts. I would feel bad if I went and didn't take him one because I didn't know.
