want to have a kid friendly rock and roll party.. maybe some "tickets" for invitations, guitar b-day cake, maybe inexpensive "concert shirts" that will have iron "i went to this party", and goodie bags with maybe guitar pics in um, ........ but what can the kids do for fun?? one parent suggested "jello shots" sans alcohol of course but would be a "finger food" (yes i got carried away with the quotes! lol) thought bout rock musical chairs but that would only fill a few min and i'm looken for at least a 2 hour party..... come on creative peoples don't let me down!!!

Well does she like CampRock ? It's a movie on disneychannel . There selling camprock plates napkins goody bags it's like the number 1 kit that you need for a theme party . There is also Hannah Montan .Buy the soundtrack and play musical chairs. I'm giving you 2 websites to go on I'm giving you the camprock website so you can know who they are and the second one is this lady she makes pinatas she haves jumbers she can help you go on her website but she speaks spanish and english . the third one is at target the sell the shirts of Camp Rock and accesories and chairs to use 4 musical chairs . And the forth one is the party supplies like costumes check it out tell ur daughter I said happy Birthday.

for my sons third birthday we had a pirate party and it was a blast. The party was outdoors so this made it a pretty easy theme to handle. We have an old boat that we put in the back yard with an old table that we found in the attic of our house sitting out from it like a plank. We then bought a kiddie pool and filled it with water and let the kids take turns walking the plank. We bought jolly roger flags and had one hanging in the front of the house to let people know where we were and another hanging off the boat. I made the invitations using clip art of a treasure chest and used a LOT of pirate lingo! We also bought pre-made treasure maps but then added our own designs so that the kids could go on a real treasure hunt in our back yard where they found goldcoins, beaded necklaces, and stones that looked like jewels. I used the pirate ship theme for a lot of the food as well. I cut a watermelon in half in the shape of a boat, used a melon baller to empty it out and refilled with different varieties of fruit. I used long wooded skewers to place paper sails in each of the "watermelon boats" I did the same thing with the hotdogs only instead of using long skewers I used toothpicks (this was only for the older kids - but at age 5 you should be able to do this with most of the kids at your party.) hmmm thats about all i can remember... we just had our 4th b-day party last weekend and it was all about bugs... so thats whats stuck in my head right now! Hope the party is a success!!!
