I'm having pool party for my daughter, didn't know if there was a proper etiquette thing for RSVP time notice or not.

normal get out the invites at least 1 week ahead. and set the RSVP for about 3-5 days before the party. it depends, if you want to get like party favors then RSVP in enough time so you can shop for the favors without rushing, other wise . . . RSVP 3-5days earlier
