Q. I am a thirteen year old and I want a fun birthday party. I don't know what I should do. I am inviting girls and boys. What are some fun things to do that everybody will enjoy?

Rock Climbing Party - You will either need to transport the kids to the rock-climbing wall or bring the rock-climbing wall out to your back yard.
Bowling Party - Before the party, Spray paint the soda bottles white. After they dry, use the red marker to draw two thick lines around the top of the bottles to resemble a bowling pin. Pour one cup of sand or gravel or water into each bottle to help them stand without falling over. On the each different Invitation: You will tell certain friends to wear blue shirt, green shirt, yellow shirt, or red shirt. You will be selecting a team for a bowling party. (Example: On the Blue Invitation, you select Rick, Barbara, Linda, Paul and Kasey to wear blue and they are the blue team. Green Invitation, you select Corey, Christian, Emily, Bailey and Wendy to wear green and they are the green team. Now you got the team for your party... just don't forget about you.))
Hollywood/Red Carpet Party - Roll out the red carpet for your teen's birthday. Instruct your guests to come as their favorite Hollywood stars, wearing their glamorous best. Interview guests as they arrive and have the 'paparazzi' snap a keepsake photo. Serve elegant finger foods and tropical fruit juice in fancy stemware.
Rock & Roll Dance Party â Rock around the clock! For an authentic sock hop feel, play rock and roll party tunes and teach your guests how to do the Twist. This is perfect theme for a teen party. You can hear the sounds of Rock & Roll just by looking at party store paper goods. Great decorations and supplies for a rock & sock hop!
Picnic/Squirt Gun "Paintball" Party - Have your guests put on white T-shirts (to easily determine hits), and divide them into two teams. Give each player a water gun containing colored water (red for one team and blue for the other; use food colors). The idea is similar to capture the flag, but a warrior must go to the opposing team's POW camp if he gets hit.
Bonfire Party - For a great boy/girl party, one of our parents suggested creating a bonfire party. Providing a bonfire for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, as well as creating a dance area on a carport or garage was an inexpensive fun way to host a great party.
Barn/Hayride Party - If your party falls during cooler weather and you live in the country, why not host a barn party? Decorate the barn, hang some string lights, put out finger foods, and crank up the music. For added fun, hitch a trailer filled with hay to a tractor or pickup, and take the teens for a ride through the pasture and woods nearby! Also set up a country dance floor in or around the barn. This makes a great party.
Luau Party - Even if you don't have access to a pool, you can create a luau in your own backyard. Add some music and tropical foods, including punch, pineapple, coconut, etc. Then, let teens dance, play games, etc.
Pool Party - It's summer time again! Well, will be. What's bettered then a pool party for a birthday theme? These ideas can also be used for splash parties and luaus.
