But this isn't your average "pick a pine cone off the ground" scavenger hunt. At night, your team must go around every camp site and ASK them for these items. Usually many families are huddled around the campfire and take the list and try to get as many things for you as they can. So my question for you is, what are some items that you would put on this list?

Answer
I would no longer send kids out to other campsites unless you were at a privately owned camping spot.

For a different idea instead of the usual rubber band paperclip scavenger hunt try this, For every member of the party going scavenger hunting have them try and tell a story about another member of the party by finding things in nature that they see around them. Also make the scavenger hunt start after breakfast is finished and finish around the evening campfire. This way they will have plenty of time to find something that they can share. It does not have to be an object either it can be a mental image of something they saw or picture if they have a camera.

here would be some examples;
1. I found this piece of driftwood on the beach it has these long skinny branches on it that look like uncle Bobs legs, and then I found this maiden hair fern branch that has his hair color. I made a hat for it with the bark of a tree see it looks just like him.....

2. When I passed over the ridge today and saw the water fall the sun glistening through the mist It looked like the fire uncle bob built (tossing some extra pine needles into the fire at this point) And made me want to share this with you, pass a picture of the waterfall around.

Have fun

What should I do for my birthday party?

Debora

I am 12 turning 13 and I'm not quite sure what to do for my birthday party it's coming this January so it's still going to be cold but not too cold because I live in Florida any ideas?

Answer
Becoming a teenager only happens once, and the activities should be unique, memorable, and most of all they should be fun. So, here...

A Mini Rave Camp Out Party â Like a sleepover, but outside! (OR if your parent can do this, rent a cabin!?) Camping out in the backyard is fun. Must have tents; make sure they come equipped with sleeping bags, lanterns or flashlights, and bug spray. Donât forget campfire pit for (using fire pit, for safely purpose) toasting marshmallows and/or sâmores, roast hotdogs and singsongs.

Have a Mini Rave Party! --
Glow in the dark neon bracelets, necklaces, and other accessories are a lot of fun. Provide all of the girls with an array of glow in the dark jewelry, play your favorite music (iPod), and plan on an evening of dancing and fun in your backyard (or @ the cabinâs Ramada). You can turn it into the best 13th birthday party you and your friends could ever imagine!

Serve: **1. Sub-sandwiches, chips, fruit and punch juice (OR) 2. Hotdogs, corn cobs, and bake potatoes for dinner for lunch/dinner. **Pancakes, and/or cereal, yogurt and juice for breakfast. **Trail mix (nuts, M&Mâs, raisins), popcorns or granola bars and grapes, oranges for snacks. **Birthday cupcake. **S'mores and hot chocolate (graham crackers, chocolate and roasted marshmallows for evening snack). **Donât forget WATERS!!! (Do whatever you want on food/drinks.)

No matter what activities and games you choose, with a little imagination your 13th birthday party is sure to be a great success! Here:
Iâm a Vogue Girl Game! --
Your friends wear makeup and have a good sense of humor; the makeup game is a fun and hilarious activity for a 13th birthday party. Have the girlsâ team up in pairs, and each should have eye shadow, blush, lipstick, and a blindfold before beginning the game. The person wearing the blindfold will be the person applying the makeup! The finished makeovers will look totally hilarious, and whichever team did the best job is voted the winner.

What's in Your Purse? â If most of your friends carry a purse, consider playing the purse game. (Your friends must bring their purse. Please remind them to remove any items, which are too personally to be shared or seem.) Before the party begins, make a unique list of items that might be in a girl's purse, and whoever has the most items on the list wins the game. Have a few game prizes such as lip-gloss, inexpensive jewelry, or tasty treats.
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Nature Hike -- (Responsible Adults must participles.) Schedule a nature hike. Nothing too strenuous, just a chance to be outdoors. Have everyone bring fully charged digital cameras or picture phonesâ¦for a photo contest with categories like Best Plant Photo, Best Wildlife Photo, and Best People Photo. You decide how you wanted done. Make a category list (make copies) of what your friends should take pics of, then after that picks adults whom will be the judges for âRecognition of Outstanding Achievementâ, have gifts or âSuccess Award Certificatesâ copies. Click here for the certification itâs free. http://www.successcertificates.com/certificates/achievement-certificates/success-award-certificate-recognition-for-outstanding-achievement
Glow-in-the-Dark Scavenger Huntâgo to http://www.scavenger-hunt-fun.com/glow-in-the-dark.html (OR Nature Hunt-- If you're going to be in the great outdoors around plenty of trees and wide open spaces, a Nature Hunt is the perfect idea for exploring your surroundings while engaging in some friendly competition. Always remember to take plenty of safety precautions. Nature is beautiful, but also unpredictable. http://www.diva-girl-parties-and-stuff.com/support-files/naturescavengerhunt.pdf)
Old-fashioned Fun -- team relay races (three-legged race, wheelbarrow races, racing with an egg on a spoon, and hot potato, etc.
Be Creative & Be Safe... Have A Best Happy Birthday!
