Should I go to her birthday party?

Today, one of my 'friends' gave me an invitation to her 16th birthday party. The reason I put friends in quotations is because all I really do is say 'Hi' to her in the hallways, we had 1 class together last semester and talked a little bit.

Also, she's in a grade older than me so I won't know that many people there, and when she handed me the invitation she had a a bunch (I'd say at least 30) so I wouldn't want to stand there at the chip bowl while everyone else is having fun. It could be an opportunity to meet new people, but at the same time I'm not that outgoing person, nor the type of person people would automatically want to get to know.

So, if you were me, would you go?
