What to do with the rest of my summer?

Danielle

Well, I know it's kinda late to be asking now, but I really don't know what to do. I have to stay at home mostly because I have to babysit my little brother and sisters. We go to the park, and pool, and do some baking, but it's getting really boring around here. I can't go to the mall and stuff cause I have to watch the kids. Anyone have great ideas to do so I can have fun this summer too!!!!

Answer
It's not that far into the summer so don't worry. I'm one of 4 sisters and we have to keep our eyes on each other every day of the week so I'm sure I've got tips based on experience for you ;D

These activities of course vary in capability depending on the ages of your siblings. My youngest sister is 8...

-Give each other make overs
-Hold a fashion show with your and your guardians clothes
-Make a collage of your favorite (insert noun here)
-Do your own themed photo shoot
-Make your own short flicks or reenact a favorite movie
-Make music videos
-Decorate sidewalk/driveway with chalk
-Food/lemonade stand
-Pick a day during the week to be "movie night" and take turns deciding on the movie, make popcorn and since you can obviously bake, make 1 treat that matches the movie picked
-Picnic in park or on your own property
-Take dog (if owned) on an extended walk of the neighborhood
-Give dog (if owned) a bath
-Take a walk to buy ice cream or catch the ice cream truck
-Water balloon/gun fight
-Camp in your backyard or make a tent indoors, make s'mores in kitchen and tell stories, make shadow puppets, watch a movie, etc.
-Throw your own small party

That's all I've got for now. Hope it helps keep your summer interesting. =)
