I'm a girl, and I have a pretty tight budget, and absolutely no idea what to do for a birthday party in August. My group of friends usually likes doing things more than sitting around and relaxing. Problem is, last time I tried to throw a party which involved going to a water park, only 1 or 2 people actually paid the 15 dollars for themselves, and I had to pay the other 70 or so dollars out of my own pocket. Any ideas?

What should the theme of my party be?

I'm having a awesome birthday party at a giant water park resort and I'm making the invitations today. I want to make a good impression on the guests and so I want to have the best invitations ever. What should the theme be (i want it to be specific like flip flops) and extra party and invitation tips get you more chance at the 10 points! Oh and I'm turning 12 so if that helps... :)

The flip flop idea would be cool, you could sure do a lot with that. Or a beach ball or something. Make the invitations yourself, cut some card stock paper into the shape of a flip flop and use a ribbon to tie on the top part of it, then inside write out all the info of course!
As for party tips, try playing some kind of game involving flip flops! Like put everyone's flip flops into a pile and make each guest grab one that isn't theirs and they have to find the owner of the shoe but they can't ask who's shoe it is flat out, they have to ask other people other questions like "is it a boy or a girl's" "does she have red hair or dark hair" etc. till they find the answer. First one to find the owner wins a prize (a pair of flip flops!!!). Don't forget to serve a refreshing ice cream cake afterwards too!!! Sounds like a lot of fun, happy birthday!!!
