Answer
50 People? Well here are some ideas.
Do you have a budget?
Okay, well, here are some ideas:
For a CHEAP Budget:
Have a FEW friends over for pizza, sleepover? Movie at home?
For an AVERAGE Budget:
- go to a movie theater, with a few people
- check out local hotels to rent a room (not overnight, a party room) and have a pool party at the hotel
For a HIGH budget:
- Is there a local zoo? Perhaps see what they have there for group trips..
- This could also be AVERAGE budget, just depends how you spend, Rent a hall or something, get a DJ and have a formal/or non-formal or DRESS UP (like hand out invitations earlier so you can get ur costumes b4 halloween is gone!) for a DANCE party :)

Those are just some ideas.
I will tell you what I am doing, I am turning 14 at the end of this month and I am having a Halloween/Birthday party.. (halloween themed) and I am having my 6 closest friends over, we are going to play stupid silly games (like bob for apples, pinata, like kid stuff lol) then we willl make a funny video for facebook.. :) then we will have pizza :D, and we are all gonna dress up and go trick or treating up to the local bowling alley... :D then we will trick or trea back (or not if its late) and have everybody go home, it will be from like 330-(930 10 ish) :)

I need ideas for a combined boy/girl birthday party!?

I have two kids both born right after Christmas. My Daughter turned 3 Dec. 26th and my son turned 5 Dec. 28th. It is so hard after the Holidays to get everyone together, but we decided to have a combined birthday for family and friends on Jan 17th. We will have a jumper and tons of food, but I would also like to do a somewhat themed party. My kids really like the same kind of things for the most part, but my daughter does have that girly side of loving princesses as well. I was thinking maybe of doing a Knight in shining armor/princess theme. Does anyone have any other ideas for a boy/girl birthday party?

Hi,
We're having the same problem...I have twins (boy/girl) and they are turning 4 on Jan 25. I've been doing a lot of research and although I haven't made any decisions...here's what I've come up with:

*Mickey and Minnie Mouse...cute invitations that look like Mickey's ears...check ebay...a Mickey/Minnie bouncer...Mouse ears for everyone as they arrive...normal food but I would definitely add cheese and crackers with the cheese cut out with a mickey cookie cutter. decorate in red, black and white.

*Under the Ocean...get an ocean theme bouncer and serve octopus hotdogs, starfish burgers, macaroni salad with shell macaroni, gold fish, and have the kids make their own ocean using water, oil, food coloring, sand and shells in baby food jars.

*Tinkerbell/Pirates...you can follow the same ideas as above but sprinkle the food with "fairy dust" using salt or pepper and rent a pirate ship jumper...they also have great invitations on ebay where the invitation is mailed in a bottle for the pirates...I was just going to change it a little to add the fairy part....like some fairy dust in the bottle and a small wand.

*Prince and Princess..I did this for their first bday party..have individual cakes make to look like crowns...one blue and one pink with either their name or age on their cake...these would be just for your kids. One large cake with a castle on it. I would rent the castle jumper with the dragon on it....and do pink and blue table cloths.

*Dora and Diego...this one is pretty obvious...make maps and let the kids find things, like a scavenger hunt...just like on the show. each child gets a mini backpack with the essentials...map, binoculars, etc.

*Zoo...I did this one at their second birthday...there are places where you can rent a mini petting zoo for your party. and then I rented a farm jumper for toddlers

*Safari...similar to the zoo...
*Cowboys and Cowgirls...just another idea.

I'm having a hard time deciding what we are going to do... I've been searching the internet and looking to see what is available for different themes...it'll help me decide.

Hope this helps..
Brenda
