normal get out the invites at least 1 week ahead. and set the RSVP for about 3-5 days before the party. it depends, if you want to get like party favors then RSVP in enough time so you can shop for the favors without rushing, other wise . . . RSVP 3-5days earlier

When should i send the invites out for my sons birthday? How far ahead of time? He is in April. Thank you!

I would send out two weeks ahead of the party or earlier if you know people will need to plan further in advance to attend (like requests off work or something depending on when you'll be having the party/your guests' work schedule). Include an RSVP for a week before the party so you can estimate the number of people who will be attending.
