I love making my own invitations :D What if you made invitations shaped like tickets you would've got for dance partys and stuff a while ago. I think they look pretty retro. You could do bright paper. Then just type or add all the information on. -if your having like a beach party or somthing to do with summer party you can put the invitation in a bottle with sand
OR
make cds with good music on it and on the cd write down all the information they need to know about your party:)
