13th Birthday Party Invitations?

Toni Mara

I'm having my 13th birthday party at the movies and then, im going bowling at AMF Bowling Center, but im having trouble writing the invitations. i don't want the boring "You're Invited" To: [person's name] From: [my name] Where?:[where its at] When: [when its at]...so can you guys puhleeze help me! thanks soo much in advance!

Answer
- convert into a verse or limerick/rhyme which will include everything.
eg. we're going-a-bowling, a-bowling, a-bowling ......

- make it a dialogue between 2 people - question & answer format
eg. where's everyone headed to? why? with whom?....

- make it a short story "there's this girl named....who's just turning 13....she wants her friends ....

- if you are good at sketching [even cartoon figures or animals would be fine], draw [or cut out & glue] characters along with a cinema hall & bowling center [on which you can write/glue the name of each]. all you need to do, instead of spelling it out in words & sentences, is to print/write out the names, dates, addresses on the pictures - self-explanatory.

hope these generate more ideas
all the best

Answer
A quick, easy, and fun way to create your party invitations is to go CropMom.com at http://www.cropmom.com. Cropmom is a online digital scrapbooking, collage, card making site.

Upload your photos. Make your invitation using them. You can add your own text. There are thousands of graphics to choose from to create your invitation. The site has graphic kits organized by themes. The tutorials should be helpful.

Then save it. Go to My CropMom and click on the layout. Then click the "share" link. It'll let you enter the email address of the recipient, and your screen-quality invitation will be sent via email for free.

For print-quality, you can purchase a JPEG file of your creation (it doesn't cost much-less than $2) and download it to your computer.

From here, you can either print your invitation at home. Or have them printed by a photofinisher.
