Q. hey im the maid of honour for one of my best girlfriends weddings. i need ideas for her stagette. no or little alcohol involved and clean ideas only please. we want to have a blast, but keep it chaste. any ideas??? scanvenger hunt?? what should be on the list???

Im not sure where u r from so I dont know what is available in your area nor do I have any idea of how many people you would like or your budget but here are a few ideas;
1. Go paint balling (advisable to do this a few weeks before the wedding in case there are bruises on the bride or yourself)
2. Go down to a local park/nature reserve and have a bbq
3. Go to a comedy club to see some stand up comedians (many venues will do a special package for a hens night - perhaps hire a coach for everybody so you can all go together?)
4. Do a car scavenger hunt (just like the Amazing Race but on a lot smaller scale) This would be nice if the bride had a luxury or vintage car hired for her.
5. Host a party at home - you can either have a big bash with lots of music and dancing or a more intimate gathering where you do girly things like have a manicure etc.
6. Go to a day spa and all get pampered together.
7. Go on a shopping tour
8. Go on a coach tour around the wineries.
9. Organise a boat cruise - either in a nice boat down a river or do something like dolphin/seal/whale watching depending on whats available
10. Go to a really nice restraunt. You could try somewhere unusual and traditional - like a kobe japanese place where they throw the bowls of food at you or mongolian where they cook it right in front of you.
11. Book out a local theme park or adventure resort for a few hours
12. Go away on a relaxing retreat for a weekend or go camping by the beach or in the bush.
13. Spend a day doing an adventure sport, such as canoeing, hiking, white water rafting, have surfing lessons, horseback riding etc.
14. Try a creative class, such as a personalised cooking class or art class depending on what interests the bride
15. Have a simple movie night with the girls eating lots of popcorn and talking heaps about the men in your lives.
16. The typical night club thing is always available...
17. Book out the whole of the Gold Class/Premier part of the cinemas and go watch a good chick flick and enjoy the luxury of being pampered.
18. Go to the theater, perhaps grab a meal together first.

What to do for a Hens and Bucks Night when we don't drink!!?

I know this sounds silly but all of my bridal party and family and friends drink and my partner and I don't. I desperately need Ideas for our bucks and hens night! My partner is thinking of going fishing/camping on an island for two nights and I am completely stuck with mine, Thought about a day spa but its just an added expense what with all of the wedding costs already. Plz Help!

Almost anything costs less than alcohol. If the boys are going fishing & camping, maybe the girls would enjoy going to the beach. You have to think about what you and your friends enjoy when they are not drinking! Tennis, golf, bridge, hiking with a guide... certainly not a day spa, many women hate that stuff. A specialized class at a cooking school, a dance class - contra, tap, squaredance.
