Answer
Not knowing your skill level at manipulating images and text and such, I assumed a very basic level since you can't get free customized anything printed if you don't know at least a little bit about how to move things around on the page. And that's all you need to know, a little. These are both cute invitations, and both sites have other items if you don't really like either of these. Both items are free--you pay only for the paper and printer ink.

This free invitation includes Minnie and Mickey, and while the design is a little different than what you had for examples, you can customize this invitation with your own text, your own photos, your own graphics, and arrange them how you like them right on the webpage. You can then save the file to your computer to print later or print them right off the webpage, or you can even do both! Take your time with the customization...I noticed that when I worked faster than the customize tool, it slowed down almost to the point of freezing.

This set was designed for Shery's own daughter's first birthday. It is a whole Minnie Mouse birthday kit, with templates for printing party bags, cupcake wrappers and toppers, an invitation that resembles what you are looking for (add the photo yourself), and more. You download the kit for free and go to town at:

Good luck, and have a fun party!

What to do for a blue mickey mouse birthday party?

Jessie

My little girl is turning 4 next month and she wants a mickey/minnie mouse party but her favorite color is blue... so now she wants a blue mickey/minnie mouse party. anybody got any ideas for the party?

Answer
Well hopefully, you can go down to your nearest party shop and just buy Mickey and Minnie Mouse supplies, and try to get as many blue items as possible. You can also order the material online at: http://www.partycity.com/product/minnie+mouse+party+supplies.do (Minnie) or http://www.partycity.com/product/mickey+mouse+party+supplies.do (Mickey). They have lots of options on what you can buy, and the prices are all listed, so it's really easy to get everything at once.

If you don't live near a party store, and you don't want to order online, here are a couple of things you can make or find at another local store for your daughter's birthday:

--Dress your daughter up as Minni Mouse, using whatever clothes and materials you can find

--Get blue crepe paper and a matching tablecloth to go along with your "blue" theme

--Ask a baker to make a cake with an image of Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the top. Let them know your daughter really likes blue. You can also make the cake yourself if you have the time. This website has links of Mickey Mouse cakes that can give you ideas: http://www.blurtit.com/q822585.html

--Make Minnie Mouse ears for all of the guests that are coming. If there are boys, I guess you can make some ears without the bow: http://www.thesuburbanmom.com/2010/06/16/how-to-make-mickey-minnie-mouse-ears-for-a-party/

--Play a game involving Mickey and/or Minnie. You can play a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey kind of game, except in this case, you can get a large picture of Mickey Mouse without his ears, and print his ears separately so the kids can take turns trying to stick the ears in the right place.

--Either print out or buy Mickey Mouse-style invitation cards to send to the guests.

I hope this helps! Have fun :)

help me with great ideas for invitation cards for my daughter's 6th birthday also a poem for the wordings.?

Gayatri

the party is going to be at home and for not more than 10 children.
The theme of the party is "A Balloon". I plan to invite about 10 children. Suggestions are welcome

Answer
First off, if it's only going to be 10 kids...I saw this on an episode of King of the Hill the other day. Sounds a little pricey, but if you do it right, it doesn't have to be and will turn out to be a fabulous surprise! Send each of the kids a small, gift wrapped box (or better yet, deliver them yourself) with a helium balloon inside attached to the card by string, so when they open the box, the balloon floats up with their invitation at the bottom of the string.

As for a part that wasn't included in that TV show episode, but rather more of what we did as a class in elementary school, have the back of the card made into a little tear-off post card with a postage stamp and your address or P.O. Box (more recommended) on it. The concept of this is to have the invited child write their first name (and last initial if necessary) on the postcard, reattach it to the balloon, and set it free in their own yard.

When people find these postcards in their backyards completely postmarked, they will possibly send them back to the P.O. Box sent from. Just ask on the card for their approximate area of receiving them, as in basic main cross streets, and there could be a small competition as to whose balloon went the furthest to be determined after the party itself has ended! Talk about memories that all of her little girl (and/or boy) friends will be talking about for the rest of their lives!

My idea for a poem:

One daughter,
Two parents,
Three cheers...
Four you coming!
Five invites times two
for a girl who turns Six
Lucky Seven good luck wishes,
Eight bikes parked in front of the house,
Nine sighs and a single giggle as the presents are opened
With all 10 of her good friends joining in this celebration!

The card on the balloon thing was from the TV show...the poem and the balloon lift off were of my own imagination. Hope you liked it and, above all, I hope your daughter has a fantastic birthday!

i need help planning a surprise birthday party(read the details)?

okay so im planning my best friend's surprise birthday party.. shes turning 16 and the party is going to be on october 16th, and around 40 people are invited, i still have a few months but i'll be out of the country for a month or so and i'll be busy with school.. shes like a sister to me and i really want this to be extra special.. ok so i need help with the following :
1) the playlist
2) the food
3) whats the perfect gift to get her? (shes not a girly girl but not a tom boy )
4) what should i give the people who are attending the party ?
5) how can i get her to the party ? (its in my place)
6)any theme ideas ?
7)is there a site that i can create free invitation cards and are printable ?
thanks anything is appreciated !

Answer
1) i cant help you too much with the playlist, because im not sure what type of music you listen to. but i love metal.

2) well, of course.. you are going to want to have chips, maybe a veggie tray, and things to munch on, but when it comes to the course meal i would suggest maybe fried chicken, or beef sandwhiches. you can even go to a subway and order a whole bunch of subs. look up restraunts in your area that cater.. and see what the best prices are.

3) i do not know your budget for a gift, or what you might have in mind, but since she is sixteen and is (possibly) driving soon, i would suggest stuff to decorate a car.. like a steeringwheel cover, air freshners, seat covers etc. otherwise, pick her out a cute outfit, or a good movie. The Lazarus Project is a pretty sweet movie. or maybe you could put together a scrapbook of you two, since you guys are best friends. and since you have so much time until the party. im sure she'd like that a lot.

4) do you mean party favors? good party favors are better if they are creative.. you dont wanna just hand out a bag of candy, and be like "oh hey thanks for comin!" lol. once, i had a party and went to hobby lobby and got just a bunch of regular little wooden jewlery boxes (the small ones that havent been painted) and we all sat down at the table and painted our boxes. then you get to bring them home and use em for whatever youd like. if you dont want to get that specific, you could always do a raffle or something. get a bunch of balloons. (one for every person) and after you blow them up, fill them with confetti, and a peice of folded paper with a number... have everyone pop their balloons, and whoever has the number you pick wins a prize.
5) Since you guys are such close friends, anyways... you should just tell her that you want her to come to your place so you can give her her gift.and when she comes in SURPRISE!!!!!
6) i dont know her interests but heres some themes to choose from; luau, hollywood, zombie party, clown party, 50's, 60's. or 70's!...outerspace haha, or even just colors, i suggest black and lime green :)
7) i do not know of any web site that you can do that at, but if you go to office max or something, and pick up some cute paper.. you could do it in microsoft word! you could make really cute ones if you mess around with the fonts and colors, and if you do not have the ink to print them out, you could make one, and take your special paper to office max or staples, and give them the original, and then they will print them all up on your paper that you bought!

goodluck, and i hope i helped.
