So I am having 25 people coming 14 girls and 11 boys. I have a garage that is not attached to my house and I'm gonna decorate it with X-mas lights and have a snack table and stuff.I also have a trampoline and a big yard so....but what else can I do!!!!!!!!!!

Answer
for my 13th birthday i also had my first coed birthday party and it was awesome! what i did was i got a bunch of food and music and played it the whole time. i also got lights kinda like you with the xmas lights and turned down the main lights a bit so it looked really cool. i set up ddr (dance dance revolution) also and that was a hit too. kareoke is a good idea too. don't get too many balloons unless you wanna spend a lot of time cleaning up because people like to pop them. another pointer is to hand out invitations kind of early so people don't make other plans. hope this helped you! have fun and good luck! (:

Is this a good lead? SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.?

lexi.

This is my first column. And if it is bad be harsh! i need a excellent and my whole school will be seeing this. Help me out with anything you think needs changed. Your suggestions will be in serious consideration. THANK YOU. Espiecally my introduction. Its not very good.

*Ring ring, ring ring.* you hear that sound every day, donât you? I sure do. Can you imagine what it was like when you wouldnât hear that?
My mom and dad grew up when there were absolutely no cell phones. Cell phones werenât even thought of when they were teenagers, and I know you are thinking âWow, their old!â But when you think about it, thatâs not true, cell phones are only 39 years old. Can you believe that?
We got our cell phones when we were beginning 5th or 6th grade, most likely. I was in 5th grade. I remember the day perfectly, it was sunny, and I passed my test with a 100%. I came home and my dad told me if I wanted a surprise. I just thought to myself âCan this day get any better?â and it did. There it was, my first cell phone. It wasnât very fancy but I really didnât care it was a cell phone and I could call it mine.
In todayâs society we see touch screen phones, phones with navigation systems built in, texting, apps, music, wifi, cameras, really anything you could think of would be in a phone. The first cell phone could barely get reception.
I remember when if you wanted to have a birthday party or any party you sent hand written invitations. Some girls even had little arguments to see which invite was better and more creative; Iâm actually guilty of that. In todayâs world you just send a text and invite them.
I walked into Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and I was in the picture frame aisle when a little girl about 8 or 9 walked right in front of me and had an iPhone texting. When I was 8 or 9 I had chalk, dolls, and a trampoline. 8 years olds are going to get wrapped up in drama life when they should be worrying about grades, family, and other important events. Not where a friend is every single second of the day.
Cells phones are fantastic and I love mine, but itâs the age that bothers me; no 8 year old should have a cell phone. Some teenagers shouldnât even have a cell phone. Itâs the responsible having the cell phone. People use their phones for some bad reason at times; some use it for good things. At one point in someoneâs life I think everyone should have a cell phone.
âYou never know what you have until itâs gone.â This is what a lot of people would say when you get your cell phone taken away or any other reason.

Answer
You must bring a gift to a shower, a housewarming, a child's birthday party, and any event which the invitation defines to be a gift required event. In the case of other parties, even the wedding reception itself, no gift is required. What IS required is a handwritten letter or note thanking the hosts for the wonderful party. One may send a gift along with or instead of the written message; this the usual behavior of wedding guests in the USA.

how can i get an invitation to the united states of america?

Im not really the part type that throws a party and has everyone come over. Like last year we went camping and another year we went on the dinner train. I want something unique like that. The only thing I can think of now is to 3 of my friends (one being a guy) and get glamour shots.

Anyhow, I need some good birthday ideas around seattle or the King County or Pierce County Areas.

Answer
Why don't you and your friends all go out to a restaurant or pizzeria, have a nice meal, and then all go see a movie you've all been wanting to see?

Or take a ferry ride as walk-on passengers (it's cheap!), get off on the other side and have lunch, then come back (and go to the movie or not!)

I am looking for unique first birthday ideas. My son is turning one in September, and since it will be mostly adult friends at the party, i am looking for something that is not cutesy and cheesy! Any ideas or ideas of places to look for crafty ideas? thanks.

Answer
What about a camp theme? It isn't too cutesy, and there are lots of fun ways to make it perfect for adults.

The color scheme is easy - green and brown for the woods. There are some new camping theme paper goods available as well - http://www.birthdayexpress.com/browse/_/N-i/Ntt-camp/results1.aspx?AID=10645522&PID=1151654

Serve "camp food", hot dogs, kool aid, granola/trail mix, smores (yum!) and popcorn.

Lanterns and small branches from trees in vases are fun decorations. Wildflowers are great too. Set out any forest themed stuffed animal you have...bears, owls, foxes. Throw a few pinecones around for good measure. Set up one of those fake flame torches (sold usually for Halloween) on the buffet and surround it with wood for a fake fire!

Have a fire if you can (September should be perfect weather for it).

Play good camp music. Almost anything by Bob Denver is great. Or get an audio recording of ghost stories!

Have a camping theme movie playing on the tv - Ernest Goes to Camp, Daddy Day Camp, The Great Outdoors, Meatballs are a few to choose from

Have everyone leave messages for your son to read when he is older by signing something with a camp theme... a canoe paddle, a camp t-shirt, a duffle bag.

Party favors are easy - inexpensive items like whistles, compasses, travel sized bug sprays or sunscreen, flashlights. They work for the theme and are useful too!

We have a Bar/Bat Mitzvah Camp theme party. You'll have to adapt some of the ideas but it has more decoration and favor ideas in it.http://www.party411.com/PlanYourParty/Occasion/BarBatMitzvah/LetsgotoCamp.aspx

We have several more kid's birthday themes here if you'd rather do something different, adults would probably enjoy bowling, circus, outerspace and cowboy too

What are some fun activities for a campout birthday party theme?

Alyssa Cla

My daughter is 3 years old in June and we decided on a camp out party theme. I am looking for some ideas on activities to do with the kids. There will be more adults than kids at the party, but I would still like to have activities that both adults and kids can do that relate to the theme. Thanks in advance!

Answer
You could do a scavenger hunt, flash light tag, s'mores, have jars so the kids can catch fireflies, tell spooky stories (age appropriate), make up camp fire songs.

Is it bad etiquette for a Birthday Party?

To ask guests to pay for their childrens passes instead of presents? Its my sons first birthday and we want to have it at a local working farm set up for kids (pony rides, hayrides, petting zoo... etc.) Its going to cost over 200 bucks. :( i really have no where else fun and safe to have it as im in out of state since all of our family and freinds are here. and how would i go about asking for this on the invitations?

Answer
I wouldn't mind but technically its not good etiquette. You could ask your closest friends and family if they would like to help pay for the party instead of giving a gift, but not every guest. You would need to ask them in person or over the phone, not on an invitation. Just say, whatever you planned to spend on a gift would you be just as happy to give me the money instead so I can put it towards the party. Also be prepared for people to say no and you have to pay the whole thing. Don't expect them to give you money just because you asked. They should be able to give the gift they want and feel good about it. As long as you are just giving them the option to give it as a gift, I think its fine. Be prepared for people to tell you, you simply shouldn't spend so much on the birthday party. You may want to wait until your child's second birthday party for the petting farm because he will be able to enjoy it so much more and it will be safer for him. Have you talked to the farm owners about cutting you a deal? There is usually a group discount for things like that.

What are some good places 2 host a 2 year old party?

Brie W

I live in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania so fun places that are located there

Answer
Two year olds are pretty easy to please! A picnic party at a local playground or a simple get together at home will make them happy. Of course, it also depends on whether you are entertaining a group of 2-year-olds, or whether it is a family party with older siblings/relatives, as well. Since it sounds like you are looking for something bigger and more memorable, consider one of these:

1. The Please Touch Museum - This wonderful museum is a colorful and interactive place for young kids to play. The party package includes food, admission costs, carousel rides, a theater experience, activities, games, and invitation postcards for all of your guests.

2. The Little Gym - This is a great place for kids to run around, sing, dance, and play. The package includes all paper products, drinks, set-up, clean-up, games. music, and invitations. You can also opt to have pizza and use of the Air Trak âmoonbounceâ included as well.

3. Gymboree - This venue allows you to choose a theme such as princess playhouse, super heros, or arts and crafts. Kids can dress up and listen to music. Packages include paper products, invitations, gift bags, a teacher to help with games and activities, gift bags for kids, candles, and balloons.

4. The Philadelphia Zoo â If your child loves animals then this is a great place for their party. Packages include a party tent, admission for 20, parking for 5, a party t-shirt, and gift bags for the kids. This venue is special because you can also choose to have the zoo come to your home. They will bring 3 animals and speak to the kids about them. The kids will love learning about and touching the animals.

5.. Kix and Giggles â This venue offers indoor slides, a foam forest, games, a rock wall, moonbounces, and a soft play place for infants. They received Best of Philly for 2008. The birthday package is affordable, and includes balloons, a one-week pass and a toy for the birthday child, drinks, the cake, paper products, and invitations.

6. Linvilla Orchards â This orchard has hayrides, seasonal fruit picking, a playground, a petting zoo, and train rides. Birthday packages include pizza, lemonade or apple cider, paper products, a gift for the birthday child, cake, and invitations. You can choose to add other things such as fishing, face painting, and pony rides. If you donât use this as your birthday venue it is still a great place to bring your children in the spring or fall.

7. Cherry Crest Farms, Ronks PA - Another farm party option. Farm animals and tractors are almost always popular with toddlers! This one has a corn maze, petting zoo, and several other activities.

8. Franklin Square - Carousel, mini golf, playground, burgers. You would need lots of adult help to supervise, since they do not have a secure "party room". It could be a fun family event, though.

9. American Helicopter Museum - has a party room and lots of real aircraft to get "up close and personal" with, if you happen to have a kid who loves that stuff!

10. Smith Kids Play Place - historic old mansion with lots of way cool playground equipment and a 24,000 square foot toddler playhouse! Parties can be booked on the weekends and include party room, birthday crown and t-shirt, and invitations.

11. Build-a-Bear workshop

Parents. I need advice on steps to take on proving to my parents that im responsible enough for a puppy?

Sara W

Im 13, and my parents say i need to prove that im responsible enough for a puppy. So they decided to get me a fish. I have to keep it alive till they decide im ready for the next step up. And ideas on what that next step up pet would be? Please help.

Answer
The problem with 'stepping up' with pets is the fact that you end up with a bunch of pets that still need daily care and attention and you will end up having no time for a puppy. Show your parents that you are committed to dogs. Spend some time helping out at your local animal shelter. Perhaps you can spend some time and effort raising donations for your local shelter. My step-daughter had 2 birthday parties (1 at her mom's for school friends and 1 at our house for friends and family) and her invitations stated that she would not be accepting birthday gifts for herself but would happily accept donations for the Humane Society (her idea). I went to the shelter's website and printed a list of needed items and mailed a copy with each invitation. We collected dog food, cat food, toys, treats and much needed cleaning supplies.
Spend some time researching different breeds so that you know what breeds or mixed breeds would fit your home, yard, family, schedule and lifestyle best. Learn all about training!!!!! Training any dog, but especially a puppy, takes more than just time and dedication. It takes knowledge about dogs - how they think and respond to our voices and more importantly, our body language. Then perhaps you can show your parents your dedication to dogs, not just having any old pet. You can even compromise and adopt a young adult dog (trust me, you WILL fall in love with a few at the shelter). A puppy requires a lot of time and constant work and has to be done by everyone in the household. A puppy is also a lot more expensive for your parents. A puppy needs a lot of trips to the vet for vaccinations (which is pretty costly) as well as surgery to be spayed or neutered. Any adult dog you adopt from a shelter will already be spayed or neutered. Good luck!

Q. I am having a GIRLS only birthday party. My 13th Brithday party is next October 2008. I have my own movie Theatre if that helps. And a HUGE house. Im going to invite all my girl friends but I don't know what kind of birthday to have. We are willing to buy lots of party accesories. Any help?

Answer
WOW....my niece just had her 10th birthday using DVD invitations with her pictures and a song with the invitations instructions...about 1-3 minutes long.
You should try that as an invitation..and for the party if you gonna have dancing; on the movie screen you should have the music videos to that song you are playing...and someone filming the party that may occasionally show live on the screen what is going on while the party is popping.

If you want suttle with just girls...I recommend a party that involves movies and karaoke...

What are some good ideas for a 16th birthday party?

Congrats. Do you participate in any school activities that you enjoy? Why not try one of those as a theme???
Try Some Of These:
-Sweet 16 Beach Party Theme

Get wet and wild with a sweet 16 beach party theme! There are several locations you can have your party at besides the beach, tons of games and water activities to play, great food and music and much more!

-Sweet 16 Black and White Party

A black and white sweet 16 party theme is great for larger parties, formal parties, or just plain black and white decorated parties!

-Super Sweet Candy Party

-Caribbean Party

Do the limbo with all your friends at your sweet 16 Caribbean party! Play some cool reggae music and steel drums. Make your own pine trees for decoration. Use beach style invitations...

-Sweet 16 New Years Bash

It is a well known fact that new years is one of the worlds most spectacular holidays. Everyone has loads of fun and parties the night away. Celebrate your birthday with a new years theme that you'll never forget.

-Night Club Theme Party

A super sweet sixteen night club party is one of my personal favorite sweet 16 party themes! The dark and glowing night club feel, colorful strobe lights hitting the dance floor, glowing in the dark; whatâs there not to love?

Please if u re younger than 25 do not answer my question.
My husband is in his 50. We have been married for 9 years, second marriages. He has 2 daughters from the previous marriage, they are in their 20 to late 20, they live in own apartments, study and work. I have my children who live with us, they are still teens. My husband started his relationship with his daughters and me on the wrong foot: he did not introduce us to each other from the very beginning, when we were dating and then living together. He was meeting with them in restaurants without me. The first time I met them was when he bought us a house and we moved into it which was after 2 years after we met. Then they started visiting us frequently (not very often thou).
Then once of a sudden, I think it was last year, they decided they did not want to come anymore. I swear there was absolutely no drama whatsoever - neither me nor my husband have facebook account or any other public sharing information account, we have no mutual friends, so there were no gossips from me, neither I ever gave them any advices or criticized them or their mother. They were coming, eating, drinking, I was talking to them about all kind of crap which was absolutely of no interest for me just for the sake of my husband - I know he loves them and was happy to see them.
So then once of a sudden, when it was his birthday, they invited him WITHOUT ME to one of their apartment to celebrate his birthday, instead of accepting his invitation for the birthday party at our house. I was very angry, I said it was unheard of and what the fck was wrong with them (I said it only to him, not to them of course). I was very angry and asked him what if there will be a wedding? or a child will be born of one of them? What then? Will I be excluded as well? After that he cancelled their party at their apartment and invited them to our house AGAIN. They informed they were working and could not attend. It was in summer. Then I did not hear anything about them (believe me I do not miss their company). Then yesterday he told me "I decided to invite my children for Christmas" I said "Fine". Today I inquired what day exactly they were going to come and he said they weren't coming. I asked why and he answered they did not want to. That was it. I know he misses them and he loves them, he never tells me anything or shows anything, but I know he is upset. How can these spoiled b1tches do such a thing fails my understanding.
So finally my question:
What the heck is wrong with them? Why would they do such a thing and what would you do? Start meeting with them on the side, put your foot down and keep it down? And what should I do? Pretend nothing is happening? I really do not miss them and I do not care whether they are dead or alive, but I know he misses them and my heart aches for him. And by their behavior they are hurting him, not me. If it were you would you talk to him about it? Or pretend everything is normal? I am very bewildered. And please do not advice any counselling - we are working people and we have nor time neither money to spare.

Answer
what a story! my husband also has chuldren from previous marriage, i hate their guts. always hugging him and showing their affection in front of me. i am his wife for pete's sake, i don't do that in front of them. anywho i suggest u be loving, soft, kind wife to him, surround him with love. u can not control those spoiled brats, neither can he. they want to show who is in charge - them. i say he should keep his foot down. but then i am thinking what if it were my children? what would i do? would i choose not to meet them because of him if they did not want to meet with him? i hope i will not need to make such a sofy's choice. but from the point of view of a step mother - the hell with them. In my language they say: when an old woman steps off the vagon it is easier for the horse to run. so happy christmas! 2 women are off your vagon

what is an exiting, interesting and grabbing opening line for a 18th Birthday invitation?

Chrissy

I am sending out my 18th birthday invitations but i want an unusual and cool opening line!!! it is a sex and the city themed party with black and White colours !!!!! I really want the invitation to be creative and make people want to come to the party. anyone have any ideas?????

Answer
"Legal and Alive to celebrate it" or
"Not black or white, black AND white! Come and help MJ celebrate 18 and me" (theme would include Michael Jackson).

Another idea: if you write a 1 and an 8 sideways it looks like the infinity sign lying on a bed. Maybe then you can do something with numbers in the theme.

Get people to bring "Happy 18th birthday" written in another language on the invitation. Leave a space on there for them to get it written in. Then have a prize for the language that is the most unusual or whatever....

You have been cordially invited to Yolanda Arriagaâs 18th Birthday party at Benniganâs Restaurant

6pm to 9 pm

Money Tree

the invitation sheet is a little big so I should write more so there won't be so much blank space.
Any ideas?

Answer
you should write either no gifts or what you want :)

Any birthday invitation ideas for Mixed martial Arts fanatic especially UFC & IFL?

justcuriou

It's his 40th surprise birthday party. I want the invitation to be themed with MMA.

Answer
Send octagon shaped invitations with the number 40 in the middle. Look at the cards the ring girls hold up to signify which round it is for some inspiration.

In the inside spatter some red food coloring (dip a small paintbrush in it and flick it at the paper) after you print the invitation.

Make sure you are wearing a sports bra and boy-shorts to the party (like a ring girl), and you need to blow the guests lots of kisses.

If any of the guests tries to get touchy with you, a rear naked choke is a polite way to say "no" and it doesn't leave marks.

Where can I find a site that offers a wide selection of free and printable party invitations?

sXe

I'm looking for something that's kind of generic because it's going to be for a birthday/housewarming party. I'm looking for a site that lets me edit the invite on their site and then save it, instead of saving a blank template and working on it through a text editor....
I found www.invitationland.com and that's pretty much what I'm looking for, but they don't have that wide of a selection. Any sites similar to it but with a wider selection?

Answer
maybe http://www.make-your-own-invitations.com.
they charge $15 to create a custom digital copy and then you can print it from your printer or even cheaper u can take to photo shop to print on to 6x4 matt photo paper.

How should I decorate for my son's sleepover?

Son is having his 7th Birthday and instead of a party we are doing a sleepover for all his friends. What type of decorations should I do. Should I still decorate like a birthday party? I was thinking of just getting a few ballons and decorate the cake table. What do you all think? Any help is appreciated.

Answer
I agree with the answer from "constant..." Put away anything that may break in the case of an ad-hoc pillow fight.
Boys are more concerned about the food than the decorations. If you want to decorate, concentrate on the table where the cake and food will be.
Camouflage is a good theme. Fun boy colors - green, black, and gray! You can bend this to the Military, GI Joe, Camping, Hunting, on and on.
It can also easily blend into the whole sleeping bag thing.

My son is turning 16 and I need ideas for a camping birthday party, any cool ideas?

bearable_g

Not looking for anything immature, they can do that without my help...lol. I have the basics planned, a chicken BBQ, a fire pit they can hang around all night if they desire (we live in the country), marshmallows and other camping snacks, dirt cake with a campfire scene decoration with an actual burning campfire, maybe some lawn games....thought about water balloons but not sure about all the popped balloons (they may not pick up) in our HUGE yard. We do have an electric post that we use for various things in the back yard that they can use.

Answer
volley ball with water balloons is fun at the max... and don't forget the fixings for s'mores.. ohhh and how about popcorn popped over the campfire as they sit telling scary stories at midnight??

sounds like a blast.. can I come if I promise to watch from the parents hideout?

Good Luck

What's the best place to have a kid's birthday party?

Q. My daughter will be 3 in a couple weeks, and I wanted to throw her a birthday party with her friends from daycare. What is the easiest, cheapest, nicest place to have a party? Fast food restaurant suggestions welcome.

Answer
The best thing you can do is ask permission to do the birthday party at the daycare . That way all the kids are there ,as well as the teachers, assistants etc... As long as you know how many ppl you gonna deal with ,you are ok to go shopping and buy what you need to do this party at teh daycare.

But if you are friends with all the kid's mom , than handing out invitations is the best way to go ,to take the party out of the classroom and a more exciting place for kids like chucky cheese or a playground where you can make reservations.

Cheapest would be in the daycare. You dont have to pay for the place or anything. Just buy a few balloons, birthday hats for kids, some chips, juice, candy and bring in the cake!!!!! That is what im gonna next month for my soon to be 4 yr old!

What are some fun and creative themes for a teen birthday party?

I'm turning 15 in the spring and I need fun ideas for a birthday party. I'm not sure whether to have it at home or somewhere else, so if there are any good ideas that'd be great. There'll prolly be about 10 to 15 people.

Answer
Congratulations. Your asking at the right time as a good party needs time to organise.
Home would probably be the cheapest, giving you more money to spend on the party. You could colour theme the party, everything is BLACK & lime green for example or neon. Every-one has to come wearing the colour theme. The colour theme could extend to the invitations, decorations or even the food (depending on what colours you choose!)
A movie party would be cool, get a few scary movies, plenty of popcorn, candy and juice, turn the lights out and get scared!
Have a glam party, all you mates can spend time (lots of it) getting really glammed up, and then if it's affordable hire a limo and drive round town for an hour, have a drive though! (My daughter did this, we couldn't really afford it, but all her mates were happy to chip in a nominal amount and it ended up really cheap!)
I hope you like the ideas, there's some more on my website
What ever you do have a really happy birthday

We're having a camp party and need some things to do? We don't want anything out-doorsy like "identify the leaf" because we're camping right outside my house, we don't have a pool and we're on a budget, have any ideas?

Answer
You could play things like 'Ghost' or something old and classic like 'Simon Says'. If you don't know the first idea it would probably take too long to explain it. But it's fun (and a little scary) as all get up.You could play 'Make Me Laugh', uhh.......or this great game called 'Identify the Leaf' (I'm just teasing). I don't know. You girls could make up something. Make up your own game with it's own rules and everything. Yeah, I like how that sounds. That should not only be interesting (I wish I could see how hilarious that would be) but fun as well. Have fun!!!

What are your best tips/meals for cooking while camping?

cupajoe

My family has gone camping once (2yrs ago) and it was fun, but I found that I was not nearly organized as I thought I would be when it came to cooking meals. We tried packing lunches when we were out and about sightseeing and such, but everyone was so sick of cold cuts/sandwiches and chips...Dinners were a nightmare and breakfast a pain. We are taking another trip this summer and again we plan to camp. I hope to be better prepared this time around. Do you have any tips or meal/snack ideas for me? Thanks.

Answer
Great camp meals are one of the big items folks remember and it takes one with a heart of service and a desire to do all the planning and prep to make it happen your asking here shows you have that gift.

To start the more you can prep at home the easier it is to put a meal together in the field. Any meats you bring always taste better when marinated and that's something you can start the process at home specially for the first dinner where fresh is best.

Another big point is the less pots and pans you use the less dishes the more time you have to enjoy and no one likes KP duty on a camp out. So think of meals you can cook by using a camp fire and tin foil. Use quality thick tin foil and paper cups and quality plastic forks spoons knives. Have plenty of paper towels on hand.

Freeze everything ahead of time so food lasts longer in the cooler those marinated steaks can be frozen after they have been marinated for an hour or two and then you can have steak another day out. And your ice will last longer too.

Drinks are important because dehydration is always an issue and you actually stay warmer at night when you have been well hydrated. Sodas fill you up with empty calories and gas with out fully satisfying your thirst. So make sun tea and lemonade, Adults can have some wine with their meal, if you partake it helps to unwind in moderation, but drinking it in a paper cup is not so romantic so get the plastic wine glasses and bring some of those little umbrellas with a cherry too add to the cup to liven up the gathering, kids can have one in the tea or lemonade and still be entertained.

Theme parties for each dinner starts the fun and if you plan ahead and your group is informed ahead of time they can bring outfits or a funny hat that adds to the fun, of course Luau's are a common theme for camping as are cowboy and others be creative and have the kids do a skit for the dinner gathering. A real fun theme to do for a camp out is a murder mystery dinner!

The resturant is really cheap less than $20 (nz) for the meal and drinks..

I'm inviting around 30 friends..so there's no way I'm paying..when my friends have partys we always have to pay for ourselves, but i just dont know how to word it on the invitation haha.

Answer
Tell them the dark lord Sauron confiscated all your hobbit gold, so you can't afford to pay for them.

will these kids show up or not?

prncessang

my daughter Chelsei's 8th birthday party is this saturday.

we invited 23 kids and so far, only 7 have told me they are coming (another 3 told my daughter at school they would be there so that' tenatively 12).

5 people DID call/email me to say they weren't coming

so that leaves 9 kids still unaccounted for.

is it highly likely that these kids will show up eventhough they didn't rsvp? I emailed my daughter's teacher (she is coming to the party too) to get contact info for these 9 kids since school is already out

so I want to take a poll on past experiences-will these kids still show eventhough they didn't rsvp?
honeybaby-PLEASE. I'm posting in several areas b/c it's late at night and I won't get many answers just in one area.

and the parties at my house ARE a big deal as are my kids....

Answer
If you sent out invitations (from my experience) and you don't receive confirmation that they are coming, then the majority won't turn up
(which is a bit rude I think!)
What a BIG birthday party! I hope Chelsei has a great time.
ps could you do me a favor and go to the below link and put in a vote for my darling granddaughter. No catches or cost involved
