Monkey themed party??

I need ideas on what to do for a monkey themed birthday party, food, invitations and goody bags. Its going to happen in july.
I realy want ideas on stuff to put in goody bags! i think ill search the party city website.
I dont want ideas on decorations seeing as i think i might do it at a pool.

My granddaughter had a jungle theme for her party in December. My daughter put boxes of animal crackers in the goody bags, and Curious George coloring books (I don't know how old you are though) .... You could always put a banana in there! Anything banana would be good: banana laffy taffy, gum, jelly bellys..... You might be able to find monkey Pez dispensers ... anything Curious George

She bought a cupcake cake at Krogers... it was a bunch of cupcakes pushed together, and frosted as one cake on the top...in the shape of a brown gorilla head, complete with pink bow and red lips! Too cute:) .... Have fun!

Help with Birthday party for 5 year old?

Ok I am planning my 4( will be 5) year olds birthday party at pool. The cost is around $7 per person. We are inviting the kids from her class and we are asking them to pay for themselves. IS THAT RUDE?

I don't know...$7 is a bit high. I would be a little put off if the parents asked me to pay for the pool admittance and it was $7. They might not come.

I took my 4 year old to a pool party that was $2 to swim. The mother wrote on the invitation that she would be having the party at the camp ground and if the children wanted to swim it would be $2 for non members.

A little girl in my class is having a party next weekend and the cost is $20 a person. The mother is paying for the children that they invited BUT she wrote on tthe invitation: I know many of Hailey's guests have siblings close in age. If they would like to come to the party they are more than welcome but the cost will be $20 per child. You will have to pay Kids Kottage when you check in. I am sorry for the inconvenience but I only budgeted for her classmates. Thanks for understanding.

Make sure you tell them ahead of time too. And are you having the cake and stuff someplace else so you can write something like:
We hope you can come to Sarah's birthday party. We will be having cake at 2:00 but we will be swimming from noon till 2. If you would like to join us the pool fee is $7 per person. I know it will be a great time.

Invitation advice for a 5 year old's roller skating party?

We are heving our 5 year old's 6th birthday party at a skating rink and we want to put something in the invitations about the parent staying due to the risk of injury. We don't want it to sound all legal and cold, but we want the parents to stay. Help me with the wording please.

A birthday party at the rink is a great way to let your child, friends and relatives celebrate the occasion with games, food and healthy fun. An afternoon at the rink is no more dangerous than a visit to the playground. The risks are similar in any situation where kids get a little bit of freedom and have anything to ride, throw, climb or in this case...skate on. Parents should be there to help enforce safety just as they would in a park or playground.

To keep your tone light but firm, try something like "Parental supervision required... parents on skates optional."

Or "We will need a hand (and maybe your arms, too) to help the little skaters."

If any parents question this policy, remind them that the kids will need help getting skates and equipment on and off â and there will be a lot of Kodak moments for those who are skating for the first time.

I teach kids aged 3 and up to skate. When in doubt tell kids to keep the big parts (head and chest) over the little parts (skates or inlines) and march instead of sliding or dragging the wheels. Most are mobile after about 20 minutes of supervision, if the parents are encouraging and don't scare the kids.
