Custom birthday invitations?

Q. Looking to make cute birthday invitations with pictures. I've found them all over ebay just want to know what software I would need (and perhaps how much it would cost) to create them. I think they're so adorable and I want to make some cute invites for birthday invites and other events but don't want to purchase them want to create them myself. Hello, I recently began creating my own designs as well, just like the ones you showed here. I too sold on eBay and now have my own website where I sell them. The programs I use are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Mostly Photoshop. It has kind of a steep learning curve but if you can put some time into learing it you can create almost anything. Paint Shop Pro is also a good cheaper alternative.

go to target.. they have some really cute stuff for invitations. or if you are looking to go fancier, there are places where you can custom make your invitations. just look in your area. Good luck and happy bday!

Who has fun Photo Birthday Invitations that are cheap?

I'm really struggling to find affordable photo birthday invitations for my special 7 year old niece. All I can find are either really cheap looking cards with cartoon characters, or very expensive traditional birthday invitations. I can't see spending $1.75 a card on this - especially with the economy these days. I'm looking for designer "style" without the designer price, so nice looking regular photo cards will have to do.

Any ideas or experience?

I totally agree about the cartoonish designs... I've used the site below before. There are a TON of places where you can get really nice looking invitations without paying a fortune.

Etsy is another good place to look. You can get some pretty cheap prices... not sure about how the transaction works though.
