Immature 18th birthday party ideas?

Q. I'm wanting to throw a really fun bday party for my 18th bday... one idea i thought of was doing something immature since I'm supposedly becoming an adult (lol) ... i just need some good ideas! no drinking or anthing like that... a pary with a ton of friends! and something fairly cheap... thankyou!!

Answer
Slip & slide party! Invite all of your friends for the after noon and have the sprinklers and waterslide and everything. have water balloons and cake and ice cream. Have party hats and the matching table cloth. Make up little goodie bags. have a pinata and pin the tail on the donkey or musical chairs or soemthing. Send out invitations in the mail (I just got a pack of 10 for $1.50 at walmart in clearance that are super cute). This is what I'm doing for my step daughter's 6th bday party in a couple of weeks. Just think back to parties from when you where in elementry school.

Or

Have your friends over for a slumber party. Rent old movies that you watched when you were little (disney, casper, etc.) and have popcorn and fruit punch and chips and ice cream and cake. All of the good stuff. Have pizza for supper or all make your own. Do eachother's nails and makeup...play dress up. look at issues of J-14, teen, 16, etc. play truth or dare. Just have fun.

I love your idea. sounds like you'll have fun and have some good memories before all of you leave for college.

Birthday tea - any ideas for a 7 year old ?

Spooky1

Instead of a party, we have bought our son a trampoline and would like to ask him to choose say maybe 3 good friends to come over for a birthday tea. I am going to do 'party' bags and 'party' food, but the entertainment will be the trampoline and playing together with his toys.

How should I word the invite?, any interesting food ideas?, any ideas at all to make this a memorable day for him? Thanks
I will make the possibly dinosaur shaped invites myself.
April - wow, how mean are you?, not called for at all....
I am in the UK - where a 'tea' party is considered just fine. Tsk, the language devide could cause complications if I let it!

Answer
I'm sure by 'birthday tea' you don't mean 'tea party' but inviting a couple of friends over to have dinner as some other answerers have been a bit confused.

I think for the invite you should just go with format for party invitations, but just swap 'party' with 'dinner'. Then you just have the normal details, who, where, when, what to bring (if anything), rsvp etc. The dinosaur shapes sound great!

Party food ideas: pizza, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, popcorn, toasted sandwiches, sausage rolls, chips and dip, soda, fruit juice, jell-o, gingerbread people, ice cream, fruit kebabs, lamingtons, chocolate mousse, rocky road, mini hamburgers, nachos, tacos, carrot & celery sticks, candy, chocolate, toffee apples and brownies.

To make it memorable, just make sure you have some other party games (as well as having fun on the trampoline). Take lots of photos and film (if you have video camera) and keep the kids entertained and safe.

Need Help With a Rhyming Birthday Poem or Invitation Wording?

Ok friends I need help, my baby Devyn will be turning Seven in February and I'm looking for a cute and different theme for her. Not your normal kid characters or princess. I was thinking maybe a All About Me with her photos & the number 7 everywhere but I don't reall know.

Answer
Seven year old kids need the theme to be kept simple ...
I have a grandson turning 7 in February also ...
>
Maybe the theme could be about the number 7 ... itself ...?
"All about me" ... is a bit boring for a birthday party ...?
If that is what you meant by "invitation wording" ...?
*
-Devyn is turning 7 and the party will be heaven-
There will be 7 gifts to win in the pass the parcel game ...
On the birthday cake, there will be 7 candles all aflame ...
You can win a prize if we pick out the 7 with your name ...
Each cardboard 7 will be drawn red and look the same ...
*
The 7 gifts can be very simple and cheap ... such as ...
A small packet of pencils or crayons.
A small bag of lollies.
A small puzzle toy.
A small coloring in book.
A small novelty book.
A packet of novelty playing cards.
A small bubble blower.
(((You know what I mean?)))
If all of the kids at the party are girls then a little cheap jewelry items, maybe?
With the cardboard sevens ... you just cut them out and color them and write each name on the back and then put them into a hat or a barrel or big plastic bowl and the birthday girl wears a mask or blindfold and picks out the lucky number 7 winner of the prize. It can be anything really but once again, it can be relatively cheap and fun but make it a bit better than the pass the parcel gifts, so a cheap board game that you get from a novelty shop or a skipping rope if the kids are all girls or if there are boys there also, make it a unisex gift. A cheap board game is more than likely the best but you can think about that.
Display that gift during the party.
Number 7 stick on badges.
Party hats with number 7 on them ... you can buy the stickers and stick them on to the hats.
Lolly bags/baskets, that they take home with number 7 on them, again, use stickers.
The birthday cake can be shaped as a big number 7.
Pin the tail on the donkey can have a number 7 for the tail???
The paper or plastic cups you use can have 7 on them.
And the list goes on.
I'm sure you will think of more ideas ... such as the balloons?
