Answer
Fill out your invitation this way:

You are invited!
The type of party (name the type of party- birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.)
For: (who the party is for)
Date: (write out the day of the week, the date, month, year)
Time: (when the party starts and when it ends)
Place: (where the party will be given- the address, and also, if need be, any directions to that place)
Given by: (who is hosting the party, whether it is you or someone else)
R.S.V.P. (your phone number) -so they can call and let you know if they will be able to come or not.

Birthday Invitation?

choosingha

My son's best friend's mom sent my son an invitation to her son's 4th birthday party and she only included my son's name on the envelope and on the invitation. But my son is only 4 years old. For example, she only wrote "Ethan J." instead of "Ethan J. and family".

How would I confirm and write on an email whether or not my spouse and I are invited? Of course, I know the parents are invited but I want to be sure with her. We communicate via email sometimes so that's why I said email and not the phone.
I haven't got my question answered yet. My question was "How would I write in an email to her and ask her if this is for only a child and/or their parents as well?

Answer
I think it is expected that the parents will stay during a 4th birthday. But if you are unsure, why not just email her with something like "We would love to attend the party. Is there anything I can do to give you a hand during the party?"

That way you are letting her know that you intend to stay, and also being helpful. Birthday parties can get hectic at that age and she will probably be glad to know that someone is willing to lend a hand.

Walmart birthday party invitations?

Julie

I have a 10 year old daughter who will be turning 11 in June and she is having a slumber party. We want to buy invitations with matching thank you cards at walmart. When we look online we can't find them but we know they are at the real store. Can you send me a link to the invitations. We have come across sesame street and barney but nothing for her age.

Answer
You might consider making them. CropMom.com at http://www.cropmom.com. Cropmom is a online digital scrapbooking, collage, card making site.

Upload your photos. Make your invitation using them. Manipulate your photos by rotating, cropping, etc. You can add your own text. There are thousands of graphics to choose from to create your invitation. The site has templates and kits organized by themes.

Then save it. Go to My CropMom and click on the layout. Then click the "share" link. It'll let you enter the email address of the recipient, and your screen-quality invitation will be sent via email for free.

For print-quality, you can purchase a JPEG file of your creation (it doesn't cost much) and download it to your computer for printing at home. Or you have them printed by a photofinisher of your choice.
