I am throwing my dad a surprise 50th birthday party. I thought it would be neat to have the theme as the 60's and 70's since that was when he grew up, the only problem is I can't figure out what to say in his invitation. I want something unique and that goes with the theme. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
It depends on the type of person your father was when he was growing up. It is entirely possible that he and his friends don't remember most of the 60's and 70's so you can word the invitation any way you want.
Just have every one bring a favorite memory, put them all in a binder and have fun reading the memories. These and be signed or unsigned depending on the writers desire to remain a respectable member of the community.

What is a good jingle for my mom Susan's 70th birthday party invitation?

I am throwing my mom a surprise 70th birthday party and want to come up with an invitation for the party that perhaps rhymes in some way.

Answer
When Sue was just a baby
everybody use to say
Wouldn't it be wonderful
if she could stay this way
But even though she's all grown up
and this her 70th year
She's still more sweet and lovable
than anyone so dear.
So join us at a party
your attendance would be great
To have a share of Susan's cake
and help us celebrate!
