What are the best games to play at slumber parties?

My 8 yo son is having a camping party in the backyard .Ages are 7-9 years old about 10-14 kids any ideas for some fun safe games?

Something really fun would be to set up a scavenger hunt for the kids. hide items or describe things that can be found in your backyard (something tiny that crawls... something green and alive) anything like that and the first team to collect them all gets like icecream first or something. another fun game would be to have a water balloon fight or water gun fight.. it is summer so anything water is awesome haha. Capture the flag is a fun game too. Have two teams divide the yard in half and have kids have a flag area and a jail area. They run across trying to snatch the opposing teams flag and if they are tagged they go to jail. The kids can be freed from jail if someone from their team comes to get them or if they escape without the jail guards catching them. Kinda chaotic but fun..

How to have a really scary Halloween party/get together?

I'd like to do something really scary and fun for Halloween, like go somewhere, but I can't decide on what? It would just be a few of us, we're in highschool. We live in a beach area, so there are things to do at the beach? We also live in a farmland area, so there are hay rides, corn mazes, and haunted houses out in Santa Paula and Oxnard. Also, downtown there is a haunted hotel. Another thing to do would be to seen a scary movie, or go camping in the park near by and tell scary stories, or both! Or there is always just pizza, a scary movie at home, and backyard camping as a small, fun get together. What do you think? Any other ideas?

See if there are any woods nearby that you can go to. Have someone dress up as Slender Man. Then you must play a real life version of the game, Slender: The 8 pages. See who gets the most pages or see who lasts the longest. Play at night and only have lanterns to guide you. Much creepier.
