Movie party theme for hall or at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decoration kit and lots of decorations for this at oriental trading. com. If at home watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance in a hall with this theme. Have everhyone wear a movie star costume. Taco Dip:
2 softened cream cheese.
1 16oz sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning.

Mix with mixer. Put in bottom of a cookie sheet. Top with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and green onions. Use the cheese but you can altered the rest to your taste, maybe add black olives. Make 2 of these. Serve with tostitos scoops.

PUPPY CHOW
6 cups Crispix cereal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
12 ounce chocolate chips
2 cups powdered sugar
Melt peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave or on the stove. Stir into cereal. Put powdered sugar in a paper sack. Put cereal mixture in and shake until well coated.
Silver Dollar Sandwiches:
These are silver dollar rolls made by your bakery in the grocery store. We have them in our store just ready to grab, for large orders call ahead for some. Anyway they are perfect for parties, hand size, neat. You buy shaved ham, beef and turkey. You put lettuce on if you want and some cut cheese into triagles and put on. Also put real butter on on side of the bun inside of course. And have mustard and mayo packets on ice in case anyone wants that.

Put a certain number of candies in a pie plate, fill with cool whip or whip cream and guests have to hold their hands behind their back and find the candies to win a prize.

Buy poster of a cute actor or singer (get one of a girl and one of a boy if you are having a coed party). Anyway, put lipstick on the guest, blind fold them and then spin them a couple times and put them in front of the poster and they have to kiss it. Whoever comes the closest to the actor or singers mouth wins a prize. This can be funny, especially if boys come and they have to put on lipstick.

my 18th birthday is coming up and i was going for the old hollywood glamour theme...but i need some ideas of what i should do, like props and stuff...

Look on ebay for "old Hollywood"-type poster reproductions. You don't have to frame them or anything--just put them on the wall with removable double-sided tape so you can take them back down when you're done. I have gotten so many posters (not Hollywood, but other themes, like vintage magazine covers) off ebay for only a few dollars each.

Anyway, once you have a number of posters of the "greats" all around your walls, do a movie theater decoration theme with the rest of the room (maybe string round lights in geometric shapes; have a movie playing, or old music; etc.). Also hang up super-cheesy silver and gold stars...standard Hollywood-esque five-pointed ones. Very very very easy to make.

Do invitations along a movie theme too. Print out theater ticket-style ones...or make your own using clipart and any Word or Word-type program.

Hi, if you're having it at home you could have a movie night in party. Scary movies would be cool, turn out the lights! Include Pop corn, candy & pop.
If you can afford it, get dressed up and hire a limo for an hour. Drive around town, have a drive through, get dropped off at the movies. If you can't afford it, ask your friends if they could chip in instead of a gift.
Have ac colour themed party, such as lime green and black, ask every-one to dress in those colours, colour theme the invitations, decorations, even food!
have a 'Come as me party' Every-one has to come dressed as the you!!

By the way, I'm not really a girlie girl and I've already had a Luau party. I'm sort of interested in having a masquerade party, but I don't know how to organise it or anything.

How about a Hollywood Movie theme:
~ Come dressed as your fav movie star.
~ Have a red carpet in the entrance.
~ Hand out awards to the best dressed.
~ Invitations could be a black folder of cardboard tied with red ribbon containing invitation info, RSVP, accommodation info, map etc all printed on "movie tickets".
~ Serve elaborate mocktails in frosted glasses, with plenty of swizzle sticks, umbrellas, fruit and cherries.
~ Dish up individual deserts decorated with lighted sparklers.
~ Give guests sparklers to light on your arrival - will look awesome in photos!
~ Have an ice sculpture of the Oscar statuette
~ Ask someone to be the paparazzi and to be very 'obvious', lots of flash photography and posing
~ When the night is over send guests home with a goodie bag filled with bags of popcorn, boxes of movie candy, and plastic sunglasses.


OR Rock n Roll party - come dressed as your fav rockstar. You could have blow up guitars, a guitar shaped cake, candy that looks like rocks (haha),

OR Future Style - come dressed as someone from the future, decorate in items that glow in blacklights with foil decorations.

I have once host a birthday party for my daughter. She was about to turn seventeen, I desired to host a party for her. Coming up with 17th birthday ideas wasnât easy. My daughter had her own taste, and I wanted to impress her. I tried to think about several birthday party ideas that I could use, but none was giving me a satisfied feeling. I checked on the internet for teen birthday party ideas that I could use. I finally chose one that would suit her just fine- an Oscar party theme.

For the invitation cards, I cut out Manila paper to look like movie tickets. I stuck camera negatives on the edges of the card with a film clap picture in the middle. I stuck aqua-colored stars around the edges of the card, to give it a colorful look. I also sprinkled a few glitters on the card to give it a shimmery look. Inside the card, I wrote âLights, Camera, Actionâ together with the venue of the party, and the date. I requested the guests to carry their cameras, so that when we surprised my daughter, they would immediately begin to click their cameras like star-crazed fans.

For decorations, I bought a red carpet and placed it inside my door, so that it looked like a runway. I used a black cloth which had golden stars on it to cover the table. On the footpath leading up to my door, I spray painted it with silver stars. The banner outside the door was red in color, and it was written in gold letterings âWelcome to Hollywood.â The center of the table had red roses placed in a golden vase. I was lucky to also find red napkins which were folded into envelopes, which I placed next to the silverware. On the edges of the table, I had placed two golden trophies with my daughterâs names on them. I also draped the ceiling and walls of the house with black, silver and golden star shaped balloons, and also silver and black streamers.

Please keep in mind that you should consider about budget that you could effort for your party, and off course your parents supports.You could always host the party on your own house to save the budget, prepare for the foods, games and activities so your friends would never forget about the day!

I'm turning 15 in the spring and I need fun ideas for a birthday party. I'm not sure whether to have it at home or somewhere else, so if there are any good ideas that'd be great. There'll prolly be about 10 to 15 people.

Congratulations. Your asking at the right time as a good party needs time to organise.
Home would probably be the cheapest, giving you more money to spend on the party. You could colour theme the party, everything is BLACK & lime green for example or neon. Every-one has to come wearing the colour theme. The colour theme could extend to the invitations, decorations or even the food (depending on what colours you choose!)
A movie party would be cool, get a few scary movies, plenty of popcorn, candy and juice, turn the lights out and get scared!
Have a glam party, all you mates can spend time (lots of it) getting really glammed up, and then if it's affordable hire a limo and drive round town for an hour, have a drive though! (My daughter did this, we couldn't really afford it, but all her mates were happy to chip in a nominal amount and it ended up really cheap!)
