My son is turning 7, and he wants a Star Wars birthday party. I know a decent amount of stuff about the films, but wondering if I could get some quotes from the movie that I could use to invite the other kids to the party. My 21st birthday party is in November and I am looking for an appropriate quote for the invitations - can be inspirational, funny from a poem or song - something about growing up or living life, or just something random....Any ideas??

Since I assume this will be an alcoholic event I would suggest a toast. If you and your friends have something that you always say when toasting drinks use that - it will be meaningful, representative of you and is fitting with the occasion.

If you don't have a favorite toast here are a couple of my old stand bys with a bit of tweaking to be more fitting of a birthday and/or to keep it unisex.

"Here's to you and here's to me. The best of friends we'll always be! But should we ever disagree - No worries cause tonight I drink for FREE!"

"Here's to those who've loved us, the losers that lost us, and the lucky bastards that will get to meet us."

Dr. Seuss themed 1st birthday party. Need help with invitation wording PLEASE!?

I am throwing my son a Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat themed 1st birthday party at my home. My son's name is Nicholas (we also call him Nico if that helps). Can anyone please help me come up with a cute Dr. Seuss rhyme for his invitation?
The party will take place on April 16, 2011.

You could start the invite out with a quote from Dr. Seuss about the time...kind of like how the time has flown from your son's birth to his first birthday.....

"How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?â Dr. Seuss

Continue with the invite with something like this:

Time sure has "flewn". There has been laughter, there has been fun, look out world our little who is turning one. Please come join us for a seusstacular celebration.

April is the month, the 16th is the day, from 1-4 (or whatever time you decide) you can come and play.

Then i'd end with a cute quote on the back of the invite such as:

Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.â Dr. Seuss

Twilight Invitation Designs!?

I am having a twilight birthday party and I dont know what to do for my invitation! Any ideas will be fine, but i would really love it if you would attach pictures of designs. Im thinking something with quotes and that knid of thing...not the romantic Bella and Edward invite you thing. Any answers will be awesome! THANKS!!!! :-)

I'm doing the same for my party! We have such good taste =)

For my invitations, I am going to cut out a red apple and make it the same style as a greeting card. The inside will be black though and I was going to write on it with the ink you can only see in the dark (or lemon juice).

Or otherwise if your a technology sort of person you could make like a video with you inviting people to the party. Then burn a copy for your guest.

Just some ideas.

have sparkles! lots of sparkles. for party favours, body glitter, an apple, red string, a chess piece, the bracelet is a good idea...
bella x edward/jacob written on the cake? or the red ribbon, or something on the cover of the books.
