help with my 15th new moon themed birthday party?

im a huge New Moon fan and my birthday is very very very close to the day that the movie comes out. I am thinking of making my birthday party new moon themed, but i'm not sure what i should do for the decorations, and invitations. any suggestions?

Happy Birthday! My birthday is on the 13th, so I too am doing a New Moon theme birthday party! I am actually on here trying to find more suggestions, but this is what I have going on Right now.
I decided to go with the gold theme of the movie. Twilight was a bluish tint, new moon is gold. So I got a gold tablecloth, I am going to get gold and black balloons.
For the invitations, I made (you can also buy them on Ebay for cheap) invitations that looked like the VIP movie passes, and laminated them. I will be punching a crescent moon at the top, and putting a tassel through it to make all of the invitations into bookmarks.
I am making a new moon jeopardy game, with five subjects; Vampires, Werewolves, Humans, Places, and Misc.
I found some awesome and very cheap candle holders on Ebay, and she'll personalize it for free too. It was like 5 bucks for 2., I'll be putting up New Moon and the New moon posters.
I am going to be making dinner, italian style since some of the book takes place in Italy. I'm also serving Gelato in place of Ice cream, and was thinking some sort of red punch.
For favors, I found at Walmart New Moon chocolate bars for a buck! So I will be putting one in each bag. I also bought the New Moon soundtrack on Itunes, so I will be making a copy of the soundtrack for each bag. Oh! I bought some cheap goody bags at Dollar tree that are just plain brown, and went on the internet, and looked for "team Jacob" and "team Edward" pictures, printed them, glued them on the middle of the bag, and then colored the bags with blood dripping down one, and paw prints on the other.

I am wanting to make my daughter's 7th Hannah Montana B'day invitations to look like a move/concert ticket or VIP Passes with all the info about the party on it and wanted to see if anyone knew where I could find a template or anything I could do this on.

What are some good birthday party ideas?

My birthday is coming up pretty soon, and I want to have a really fun party this year. I'm still debating whether or not I want to have a huge party with lots of people for just a night, or go somewhere for the weekend with a few good friends. I have a few months to plan as well. Any ideas?
I'm going to be 15. The budget would be around $300-$400.

Let the kids become rock stars for a day with a party like this one designed by Krista Salmon of Kiki's List. Guests received special VIP passes as invitations, and got to enjoy activities that included singing, a guitar piñata, and rock 'n roll tattoos. I am turning 13 in a little over 5 months i know its a while away but i want to plan ahead. Its my 13 birthday and its my golden birthday so i am turning into a teenager and its my golden birthday what a coincidence. So, when i thought of golden i thought of stars and what fits stars better then celebs and celebs are in HOLLYWOOD. Its confusing but its what i thought of and i am sticking with it. So to start of with my party are INVITATIONS: I was thinking on getting pieces of construction paper and making tickets or just plain getting tickets from the party store. This is there ticket to get into the movie at night. Along with there ticket they are going to get a VIP pass with a ribbon around to hang on you neck. It will say: You are cornily invited to Shaynah's Hollywood birthday bash. Then the times RSVP a list of possible gifts and just details about the party. This pass will be there ticket into getting into the party itself. If they don't have it, oh well there will be a VIP list. Next are DECORATIONS: When they walk in to my house there will be a layout of red fabric symbolizing the red carpet. When they walk in i will be taking pictures (disposable camera) for my soon to be scrapbook. Then i will take there coat and lead them downstairs. When you reach the staircase there will be a sign that says VIP area and streamers so you can see. It will be dark and there will be lights going like a disco ball and its going to be supper cool! Once all the guests arrive we are going to announce something key to my party. The girls have to watch throughout the whole party and watch how the other girls are doing on red carpet struts, best smiles, stuff like that. So that at the end all the girls will be invited to an award ceremony were they will vote.The winners will get wooden stars that are painted gold (found at the local craft store). When they go downstairs there will also be a blanket hanging from the ceiling. This will be key for the first game we are going to play! Behind the blanket is going to be a big box of random accessories such as, tiaras, boas, sunglasses all found at the dollar tree. The red carpet that was upstairs is going to be downstairs for this game. 2 girls at a time are going to be behind the blanket getting dressed in a random outfit using the accessories. Once they say they are ready we will put flashlights on them (to act as spotlights) and start some sort of music. They will strut out while we take pics. This is going to be key for the award ceremony at the end of the party. Once this is done we will all gather around the T.V to play guitar hero and just dance. Then we will all gather upstairs to eat pizza and drink welches sparkling wine/cider out of plastic wine glasses. Then we will go downstairs and play some more video games (for the games we will have 2 T.Vs). Then we will go upstairs once more to eat cake (for me a giant cookie) and then go downstairs for the rest of the sleepover. This is when the award ceremony will begin. Then we will all gather to gossip and watch movies. The only thing my parents have to do its be there for when my friends show up and to order the pizza, oh and cut the cookie. But that's it. So is there anything else i could do to make this even better? I am also considering having a Carnival themed birthday and a Beach Party (this one would be outside). Remember its in August. (its also a sleepover)

NightClub theme birthday party?

My birthday is in September and that's when i'm having my 14th birthday party. It's going to be club themed. The invitations will be like VIP pass type things, and when guests arrive they'll get a glow stick necklace, wrist band and a glow in the dark stamp on the hand. Also there'll be a red carpet and like a family member taking pictures as people arrive and a bouncer with a guest list. And inside there will be:
~Disco ball
~Neon lights
~Strobe lights
~Streamers
~Bubble machine
~DJ playing music all night
~Bar serving virgin drinks
~Outside people will be wearing swimsuits and can paint each other with glow in the dark paint
(I thought about a fog machine, but the hotel said it will set off the fire alarms)
And at 10:00 silver, gold, black and blue balloons and confetti will drop.
There will be about 150 people there. I know that everyone who asks this on Yahoo! says the same thing for their party, but:
~What else can I have at my party?
~What foods can be served?(Nothing boring, like chips. Stuff like chocolate covered pretzels/strawberries)
~What kind of vrigin drinks can be served? (Like virgin margaritas...)
~Any other sort of decorations?
~What else will keep people entertained?

You are fortunate to have wealthy parents to go all out just to celebrate a mere 14 years. So many kids are neglected in this world. That money for this elaborate party can be more wisely spent supplying food and basic necessities to needy children. THAT would be a great birthday present: satisfaction, gratification, and a boost for self esteem knowing you helped those in need as opposed to squandering money on selfish wants and desires.

So for my birthday this year i am taking 10 of my friends to the Glee Concert. We have VIP passes and it is so far a secret and i need to think of a really good idea for the invitations. I was thinking maybe custom VIP passes or like custom posters but i'm not sure. Any ideas?
