I'd like to have a
survivor themed
birthday party for
when I turn thirteen
I want it to start in the afternoon
and go into evening but no
later than like 10:30 at night.
If I start it at 4:30 or five thirty
How many challenges do you
think I could fit in?

Answer
You're going to need someone to act as Jeff Probst and explain the challenges, hand out the buffs, etc. Make sure it's someone who is willing to wear something like Jeff.

For invitations you should put little notes in glass bottles or you could roll the invitation up the way tree mail comes on the show. Make sure to tell them to be prepared to Outwit, Outlast, Outplay.

When your friends arrive have a jar (that you can't see trough) ready with different colored buffs. Let everyone pick one and get into their teams. Also, have names ready for both of the teams.

Set up two picnic tables and have tents pitched on opposite sides of the yard... Have one tiki torch for each person, on each team (They don't have to be lit... that could be dangerous).

Let the teams check out their camps and have a note waiting inside each tent. The note can tell them to report to their first reward challenge.

If you want to make this really fun and have memories of your party, see if one of your friends who doesn't want to participate, or your family members, want to film it. They can film it like the confessionals on survivor! They can interview different people and ask them why they think they are going to win and what they think of their team members, etc.... Make sure you do it away from others, so it will be a surprise when everyone watches it later.

Now, have the person doing Jeff's job announce the first reward challenge which can be for a prize. The challenge idea is from the link below:
WATER BRIGADE: I set this up along the sidewalk and had the two teams go different directions. On one end was a bucket full of water and on the other end an empty cup. The goal is to transfer the water from one bucket to the cup using small cups (the ones that come on the medicine bottles). They had to pass the cup to next player and so on until the cup was filled.

Send the teams back to camp and serve them rice and coconut slices! Now have someone deliver tree mail to the camps about the Immunity Challenge.
A great idea for this challenge is to get some random stuff such as: baseball bases, hula hoops, spare pieces of carpet... basically anything that can be stepped on, or in. Make sure to give both teams the same supplies. Make a start and end for both teams and give them the instructions. The goal of the game is to get your entire team to the end without stepping out of, or off of the supplies they've been given. If anyone does so, the entire team must go back to the start. Make sure you give them less supplies than there are team members, that way a lot of them have to crowd onto one item! The winning team gets immunity and gets to watch tribal counsel.

Tribal Counsel:
Set this up how you like... make sure no one gets their feelings hurt!

It would be really fun to have a food reward after that. Give everyone the same amount of monopoly money and let them bet on the food and cake you are serving. Make sure to have lots of kinds of stuff!

10 points?!

Im having a sweet sixteen in January and my theme is going to be a night in Paris. I need some good ideas?

Answer
Paris Cafe party
Invitations: Send each guest "French visas"-- a name tag to hang around their necks
Decorations: Set up a little welcome desk in the hall right outside party room to stamp Eiffel Tower and travel images on their name tags
Decorate the hall with miniature art museum with small printouts of several famous works of arts, such as "Musee de Paris", "Mona Lisa", and "Monet Picasso Renoir Kandinsky"
By the welcome desk place French flags held with hot glue.
To create more appealing atmosphere with 3 foot high 3-D Eiffel Tower and place little Paris figurines blue-white-red streamers and the Arc de Triomphe
In the dinning area place white cloths and votive on around tables for a upscale "cafe" feel and arrange the table under a camping gazebo strung with Christmas lights. To add a special touch giving each table Eiffel Tower napkins
Make little temples out of contact paper and use glass etching cream on etch Eiffel Towers on wine glass
Print a menus in French for each table
Favors: send each guest a French style bags filled with "Parfumerie" of various scents, Essential oils,
Eiffel Tower charms bracelet, homemade Tower lollipops
