Birthday Invitations?

Angel

My son is having a fourth birthday party. When you send the invitations to other children do you put the children's name on the envelope or the parents?

Answer
Personally I like to put the childs name! It makes it so much more fun for the child attending the party! I also like to personalize each place setting and candy bags! It also helps to know which kids pizza is which! You son should also remember that it's not all the presents that matter it's who's there to help him during his growing years~ and to have fun with his friends! And since he's turning four. I would suggest to have your son help write out the thank you notes before hand. And have him pass them out to each of his friends and family that show up. That way both he and they feel special. And for those that don't come he can still give him the thank you note later. And just thank them that they tried to come. GOOD LUCK!

Bowling Birthday Party for Child?

dolfingirl

I am throwing my 6 year old a bowling birthday party and I am looking for some sort of bowling theme paper to print my own invitations with. Does anyone have a clue as to where I may can find anything like this or have any suggestions on what I could do?

Answer
How about making your own invitations that double as a scorecard. Make colorful cutouts in the shape of bowling pins and give the cutouts out every time any child makes a strike. Let them trade in their "bowling pins" for (inexpensive) prizes at the end of each game. The dollar stores have such a variety of games that are good for six year olds.
Have a ball!
