Any ideas on how to celebrate birthday when u have boy and girl that birthday is a week apart?

I have a 7 year old that's birthday is march 7th and have a 3 year old which birthday is March 14th. my boy is a fan of Batman and my daughter is a fan of anything girly. Well we know how the economy is so hard right now we are going to have one party for both but my husband and i decided to split the invitations. 25 invitations will go for my son and 25 will go for her. Now I'm debating on the decoration part. i already have everything i need for batman. Is it okay or should i decorate some stuff for her too. She said she doesn't mind she only wants a separate cake and doesn't care about the decoration. Any ideas or suggestions?

If you have a cheap party store near you I would also buy some decorations for your daughter. I know she may say she doesn't care but she is 7. You should always let her know that she is special also. Places like Factory Card Outlet sell stuff through the internet if you do not have a store near by. They are very affordable.

My 16th birthday is coming up so I wanted to have a really different theme for a party. I didn't want anything fancy or classy like most girls do at my age, so I settled on a Superhero Sweet Sixteen party. I thought it would be different and fun to dress up with my family and friends. Do you have any ideas for decorations, invitations, lights etc..? I'm having it at a club, if that helps. :) Thank You!

A lot of the ideas are aimed at kid's but there are some for adults too, and I'm sure you could adapt some of the ideas to suit your age group. Ideas include:

There are also ideas for Superhero party games but most of these are aimed at kids, although you might be able to adapt the Superhero training obstacle course and substitute with more age-appropriate challenges / dares / forfeits etc.
